Has anyone tried this set since the patch with the new change (Kvatch Gladiator: This set now increases your Weapon Damage by 1475 against targets under 25% Health, rather than increasing your Weapon Damage with Light and Heavy Attacks by 1800 against targets under 25% Health.) Just wondering how it performs and if it is now a viable option for PVP...

I'm not sure how great it would be in PVP, where it's pretty easy to heal out of execute range.

The one instance that I can think of, and the reason why I think they made the change to Kvatch this update was that the intent for it is to counter Pariah/Undeath/Mist Form Vampires who get into execute range but have a ton of resistance/mitigation.

What about PVE tho? Can it be used instead of hunding's for beginner setup?

You would literally have a dead 5th piece until something was almost dead anyways.

Hmm.... you may probably create some chill out zergplar with it with bow/2H and 3x bloodthirsty. So you just zerg surf with bow, spamming snipe/ritual/remembrance whatever with your main bar, but wherever somebody from tough enemies is under focus, crit rush on him and brutally execute with your kvatch 2H back bar.
Just quick theorycrafting: with something like master's bow front / sharpened kvatch maul back + 5th pieces of spriggan+slimecraw you'll have permanent (no fury stacks, no balorgh) 7k WD executioner at ~15k penetration and with 50% crit chance and +30% from bloodthirsty on top of that.
