Queue times now?

I've reached the point I would prefer they just take the servers down and fix this mess. I'd rather be looking at a screen saying down for maintenance than a time that keeps on moving up instead of down. I've gone from 18 minutes to 36 minutes now. I've been a constant ESO+ player since after beta. I expect issues on new releases, but this has taken the cake.

This is the kind of thing I would expect out of a free to play game, not one you pay for. And for all you saying this is normal bla bla bla, *** it's not. Been playing this game since launch, I have NEVER seen a queue!

This is a complete stuff up.

I've been with ESO since launch and stuck with the game despite it's sometimes awful flaws.

I pre purchased Greymoor as I was really looking forward to the new content [although the prologue was really underwhelming] .

I was eagerly awaiting to play this morning [GMT +8] and instead got the you're in a que for 34 minutes 7 seconds. That's been there for probably 40 minutes now.

I hardly post in the forums and don't really think much of complaining but this is just the limit of my tolerance.

To those in charge - you knew that this was coming. You knew that your players would be coming in in large numbers but you've done bugger all to be ready.

And didn't they add all this server capacity to avoid this? I think it's time to stop paying the subscription. YMMV

41 min 18 second que time here love spending $60 on a game plus monthly eso plus and I have to wait 40 *** approximate wait time. [snip] I only get about an hour a night (Work and kids) I get to play and you screwed me out of a night to sit and play after I bought this [snip] expansion. [snip]

Not all, and not all of them were F2P at launch. 7/8 I know and played, they were definitely Pay to Play. WoW 100% has a que and its the most popular MMO. Hell Classic itself was qued to hell.

The que I understand, the fact the number doesn't update is silly. Also no grace period. I got in -> Crashed to desktop -> Tried to log back in and bam back in que.

Most MMO's allow a grace period to log back in case of crashes.

I really wish everyone that is in a loading screen queue would cancel their ESO+ for at least a few weeks.

It's absurd that they do not learn from their mistakes.

40~ minutes waiting in queue (the screen said 32m 32s waiting time). 3 minutes in, server kicks me out. Now my wait time is 42 minutes 17 seconds.

Had long loading screens for unknown reasons but was still able to play. I log off to cook myself and the lady some dinner. After promising to her i won't stay up all night playing ESO, I fire up the game, attempt to log on, and...near 40 minute queue.

Yeahhhhhhh...I think the lady should not concern herself with me staying up all night to play games. Considering I'm not going to sit through a 40-minute queue which, based on this thread, isn't even accurate (and may even be bugged).

I let this morning's emergency maintenance slide because of the fact I, and anyone else with any experience in MMO patch days, could (and should) see server troubles coming a mile away (more so due to the fact this is a remote patch launch, the first in ESO history). But I'm not sure why Zeni didn't see that there would be an overwhelming wave of players, both as a result of Greymoor release as well as a result of our ongoing public health crisis. One of the last things Zeni engineers should have done before clocking out from ZoS HQ for the final time was spin up additional hardware to prepare for the oncoming rush of new players. To see that they did not is a major oversight, and it means we could have a login queue indefinitely until the day comes when Zeni employees are finally allowed back in the office (which based on the latest reports I'm hearing out of the city where Zeni is headquartered, is probably A: Not going to happen until a vaccine is available, and B: By the time they do get back and spin up additional hardware, it will no longer be needed as most players will have returned to work.

This is awful. If you're going to put us in a queue, at least have it count down. I've been in a 42 minute queue for over an hour. I'm done tonight.

I have a Queue of an hour +, I only have 45 minutes today to collect daily and say Hello to Guild.

Would you please tell me how I am supposed to do this?

Besides, why should I have to sit here and watch the little circle go around like a Gerbil with its backside on fire.

Finally it logs in while I'm not watching, oh gee my golly and grab that developer by their tail, because it must have logged
me out for inactivity?

So let me get this right....You have been running successful game for over 6 years now and you are introducing one of the favorite areas from a mega successful single player game and you DIDN'T anticipate that there would be a massive amount of people, both new, current and old players on the day you release it?!?

Agreed. They upgraded the EU server last month. Aside from the login problems, which are resolved, it is running nicely tonight compared to NA. They had to consider that the NA server was close to max capacity and that a launch would toss it over. Why not lease a few more server systems until after Console launch and CYA?

I'm getting 40 minute queues as well and I'm in a quest area in the new zone where I logged out.

I'm not going to be nasty about it, but I find this rather unacceptable. My Dad and Step-mother were able to get in more or less instantly playing from the computer behind me.
