Here we go! We've been waiting for the arrival of Greymoor with promises of performance deployments, promises we've been asking for before the launch of the new content.
Let's see if PVP 'works' correctly this afternoon and this evening, if not....well it'd be a damn shame right?

    I was in Cyrodiil. There was no lag, skills were firing perfectly, didn't crash or get caught on unrendering textures, nor were my ballistae busy and...

    then I woke up to come download the chapter.

    I watched a faction last nite, using the ball group tactic to lag the server near a keep.

    They would run constantly round and round the keep, throwing out every ability that has very large animation.

    Round and round they went, it worked somewhat but probably not the way they hoped, LOL.

    Betting they were trying to crash the server for as many of the defenders as possible.

    I have seen this work and used by this faction, alot.

    Scum.

    Unfortunately, a dream is all it will ever be as I doubt ZOS will ever fix Cyrodiil. *sighs*

    I dont think they actually believe desyncs are real, let alone have a fix planned.

    Update 25 drastically changed the way the server calculated checks for abilities to fire, and they know they made that decision to change the functionality of these calculations, yet were extremely vague and skeptical that anything was wrong.

    Anyone who actually knows how to play the game at a high level (aka not zos dev team employees) could tell immediately upon first login after update 25 that something fundamentally had changed, and the result produced an extreme negative impact upon gameplay.

    But maybe it's your out of date add-ons, they deflected to that excuse for over a week lol.

    Clueless.

    It's strange indeed. I signalled the 'slowness'/'inability' to cast skills as soon as that update hit us back then.
    It all seems very messy, I've been looking at my discord bot that archives new and older bugs/complaints related to the game...there are a few here today.

    And if Cyro does run well by chance, there will be a patch that makes it work terribly pushed out very fast.

    I truly hope Cyrodiil has some improvements. I've played since Beta and this is the worst in my opinion since back in those days. I was with our team/guild and we all got the combat bug and couldn't mount, I mean NOT ONE OF US. We had to run from keep to keep and tried everything from killing mobs, suicide (dying to fish by jumping off bridge), reloading UI and none of those worked. Add on top of that 3-5 seconds of lag time for skills to go off, I would love to say it were during Prime Time but it has happened early morning where only 10 players from the enemy faction were in one of our keeps and I died due to my skills not going off. It's very frustrating. We have an amazing internet provider, top notch router, using ExitLag and I have a beast of a machine. It's not on the user end in most cases but on the server side because no way that many people are experiencing the same exact issue at once. Yes, turn off all your addons and blah blah blah. Please fix this so we can enjoy the game that some of pay for monthly and each expansion you release. Thanks.

    SO much this. PVP has been an abomination since that "improvement"and they have done nothing to revert it.
