Looking for help with stamblade bow/daggers

To me, a stealthy night blade with a bow for ranged and daggers for up close and personal seems like a lot of fun. In practice, it has been the most difficult combination I have tried so far. I’m okay With simple overland questing, but when it comes to main story bosses, I die over and over and over until I just give up. Townspeople have been screaming and diving for shelter in Vivec City for a couple weeks now because I just gave up. I cannot get even half way through the Clockwork City encounter. At 24 I should be able to do this.

So I am asking for help. I’m looking for bow/dagger front and back skill lists I should be using, rotations, anything that might help. I checked out Alcast but the builds there require skills I will still not have for some time, I need something that I can actually level with.I anyone has any advice, I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

Focus on a few skills that can heal you while you do damage. Mainly, these:

    Dual Wield
    • Bloodthirst (Morph of Rapid Fury)
    • Blood Craze (Morph of Twin Slashes)

    Bow
    • Draining Shot (morph of Scatter Shot) heals you when you attack foe from distance

    Nightblade
    • Leeching Strikes (Morph of Siphoning Strikes) pairs well with ranged bow light attacks
    • Killer's Blade (Morph of Assassin's Blade) for finishing off foes and getting health back
    • Reaper's Mark (Morph of Mark Target) for heal when defeating foe who is marked

Some of these skills you should already have access to, some you will likely get soon.

Also try Roll Dodge, Cloak and LOS (Line of Site), a Nightblades best defense, whether in PVE or PVP, is to not get hit. Always be moving...

Thanks for the tips guys, and MindOfTheSwarm, thanks for... whatever that was heh. At the time I created this guy I chose a Breton because I like them. Now I see I would have been much better off choosing a Wood Elf for the stamina and bow racials. I’m not sure if I should stick with this guy or reroll.

They don't have any racials that improve the bow, only that bow skills level 15% faster which is nothing really. Wood elf are more suited for PvP than PvE. Try maybe Orc or Redguard for PVE.

You can make any race work with a stamblade. Focus attributes on stamina, get some good buffs. Always move, roll/dodge. You cannot toe to toe with bosses at your early levels. Use the best gear you can find.
