Werewolf tank build for Greymoor?

Seems like the old werewolf tank dream will be at least nearly viable now. Has anyone elaborated anything on what sets etc. you could use for it?

Tormentor will be "it", of course. But other set(s)? Just boring old Ebon or Alkosh? Seems Yolnahkriin won't be necessary, so would there be anything else more fun you could use, besides Ebon/Alkosh? For monster set, it seems Swarm Mother would offer great utility, but if you have anything near a sweet tooth for "immersion", you can't help but thinking about Vykosa, of course.

I doubt it will be very good for running like some hardmode DLC's, veteran trials and such. But for some casual pledges and such, it seems it might be very quick and convenient, and unless you are all for perfect CP allocations etc., you could just quickly switch sets for the corresponding occasion. :-)

Yes, afaik they always could. They can't sneak, that's among the only (and most stupid) things I can think of that they can't.

The bigger question is... can we get a Werewolf Healer?

I like sets that proc AoE effects:

    Amalexia's Mercy (proc AoE heal)
Dragon's Defilement (proc AoE minor fracture/breach)
    Knightmare (proc AoE minor maim)

    Barhara's curse (proc AoE DoT/heal)
    Leeching Plate (proc AoE DoT/heal)
    Resilient Yokeda (proc AoE damage/heal)
Livewire (proc AoE/heal) (also super fun when paired with Thunderbug)

Brand of Imperium (proc group shield)

In a more serious note Torugs will be good on a WW tank since you can have a staff on your bar when you transform and benefit from the stronger enchantment during the entire duration without being any worse off than if you transformed with a sword and shield slotted. If you want to off dps in a situation where you don't need to be as super tanky Truth would be an interesting set since you can set your enemies off-balance on command and get the bonus damage frequently.

As for WW healing, run Hiti's as well as something like sentinal, and maybe throw in draugr's rest or even twilight remedy if you use the feeding frenzy synergy to proc it. I honestly just enjoy the buffs making things interesting again.

I think alkosh would be the best by far for increasing group damage.

For defensive group sets brand of the imperium would be my first choice, then almalexias mercy or undertaker if you're running an all wolf group.

Tank is sensible. Healer is pushing it.

I run a Werewolf Warden Tank and go with Tormentor + Torug's Pact + Tremorscale.

Unfortunately, Tremorscale seems to be bugged as of currently and is no longer proccing from Tormentor taunts as it had done the previous patch, whether from Pounce or any other form of charge/gap-closer taunt.

In addition, Brutal Pounce had previously applied an AoE taunt around the initially hit target, but this was removed somewhere between PTS and Live, instead only taunting the initial target; I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug, though I would assume the latter seeing as Explosive Charge/DK Leap still result in AoE taunts.

Even so, and even without the ability to effectively taunt-spam (only necessary on high priority trash mobs or certain bosses with multiple targets), I'm looking at around 42k health with resistances capped at 33k, and have no trouble with VHM versions of non-DLC dungeons, and even run certain veteran dungeons, only taking on Wolf Form during bosses.

In my testing on PTS pounce never applied an AOE taunt. However with the update to the wording of the tooltip, it should.

For clarification, I meant certain veteran DLC dungeons. I have no problem at all with ANY of the non-DLCs in vet.

I'm on console, so I'm yet to see how it works. I have a Tormentor set now with junk traits, and I'll try it before I decide if I wanna do this seriously or not. Too bad that Tremorscale doesn't seem to work as it should, if they removed it on purpose that was surely a ****** thing to do, but I still think Swarm Mother will be pretty nice, or just some common "selfish" tanking headpiece if needed.

I am thinking Desert Rose would be a pretty amazing set, if you can run one "selfish" set. I know from PVP, that it seems pretty broken, and seems to work way better than even the tooltip suggests. Otherwise I suppose Alkosh would do fine, as usual - which is a bit boring to be fair. We need more viable tanking set alternatives. It gets boring to farm Alkosh shields and stuff as soon as you want to make a tank.

Same here. Hoping they fix it.

Had an idea to use Tormentor + Alessian Order + Troll King for absurd health regen in wolf form, then saw that Alcast beat me to it. Gonna try Tormentor + Leeching on my DK, since it should synergize well with the combustion passive. Probably throw on Lord Warden for my monster set to give some group utility.
