Playing in Cyro & IC, w/ Lag

So over the last few months there is patterns popping up for me w/ lag.
One min, even w/ all cyro locked ill go through times w/ no skills locking up w/ major lag even with a few full Raids slamming together (NO LAG)
There is a list of players names that are pilling up when ever I'm around them, nothing` can't use skills lag goes through the roof.

IMO; Some players are forcing lag by using multi add-ons w/ other third party software or the like.
This on top of severs being a pile of poop, makes game play in PVP really bad for me. I'm guessing other to.

It's not sportsman like. IMO to use anything software or add-on wise to play in PvP.
I myself only use a few add-on ( After 3 years of doing writs on 8 toons, I started using Lasy Writ Creator. a few other one like shard, Lorebook etc.
I use visual & audio to play the game, in trials to. No add-ons. But that's just me.

On that note, I'm going to swim in the lag pool some more! Good Lagging! 8)

I have also come to the conclusion that a lot of lag is caused by specific players participating in combat while having certain addons (Master Merchant etc.) active or just having a very bad internet connection and thus lagging out other players

The worse the ping of your enemy is, the more lag your fight will have due to the fact that the TCP/IP based combat protocoll will wait for every input of your enemy and recalculate all actions backwards (like meteor pulling you back, multiple snipes hitting you at once etc.).

This makes the server slow down drastically and fires back on every player in the instance.

    Yeah...ok.

You know, if it actually was something as simple as that contributing to the lag issues zos would've been out of their lockdown in a flash to make a huge sticky post declaring it was all the players fault, really, but they would work with us yadda yadda yadda.

But it's not. And they haven't.

And lest we forget: consoles don't have add-ons. But they surely do have massive lag/desynch/latencies issues, too.

Have we all checked our leads ? I know I did when I was participating in the loading screen show that is PvP this morning.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

I've come to the conclusion that the performance issues are likely less due to coding and development, and more likely the result of not providing enough or good enough servers. That's why the problems somewhat subside in low populations and low populated zones (overland PvE). Any content with very many people essentially crashes the servers. When it's load, the more players the worse it gets, that's usually not enough hardware to support the software. ZOS likely just isn't paying the recurring costs this game needs to run properly. It's probably not a dev issue at all. It's an accounting issue, and as players, we are the cows at the dairy.

What about those of us on console? We don’t have add-ons and we still have lag and skill delays and skills not working. It’s just trash servers.
