Can't reach the main website elderscrollsonline.com or get past the loading screen in the launcher?

Since 5/21/20 when the website was taken down for maintenance, I have been unable to play the game or reach the main website elderscrollsonline.com. Whenever I read something on the forums it is suggested to look at <insert article name here>, but I am unable to look at them because they are a part of the main website. I managed to get a ticket in using cellular services, but no one has responded. Is anyone else having issues like this? I don't even get any errors.

Hi there, we recommend clearing your browser history, cookies, and cache, or using a different web browser if you are unable to access our site.

Are you able to view this help article for troubleshooting regarding the in-game login issue?

I have cleared my cache and cookies. I also tried a different browser, but I can't play the game either. No success there.

No, I cannot get to the link that you gave. It just times out as the rest of the main website does. No other websites are timing out. Apparently, my computer cannot communicate with ESO specifically after Thursday's maintenance. I played on Thursday morning without issues.

I did manage to get it to present this error when I tried to bypass the launcher altogether. I still can't login to the game.

    Hello,

    For Error 200:

Please ensure that any anti-virus/firewall protection has exception rules for The Elder Scrolls Online.:

Each antivirus program is different and we recommend that players view the antivirus developer's website for full instructions on how to add exceptions.

The application files that may require exceptions are:

    Bethesda.net_launcher: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\Launcher
    ESO.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso.exe
    Steam.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe
    ESO64.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso64.exe

Some antivirus programs require entire folders to be selected instead of a single file. When this is the case, the file paths below are what players should use. If required by the anti-virus program, include all subfolders since every file is critical to run the game.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

Also make sure that the following ports are open on your modem / router:

    TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
    TCP / UDP Ports 24300 through 24331
    TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
    TCP Port 80
    TCP Port 433

If the issue persists, then we will be happy to assist further via the support ticket that you submitted. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing high contact volumes, due to the impact of COVID-19, and you may experience increased waiting times when contacting Customer Support. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you, I have already made exceptions in my firewall for these and opened the ports. I will double check just in case I missed something. It just seems odd that everything was clearly fine until the maintenance happened on Thursday.

I saw in a different post on the forum that tickets are taking 2 weeks or longer? That seems a bit much even with current circumstances. Why is the wait so long?

Just thought I would update this. My neighbors have a different ISP than me and they are having the same issues. I checked Down Detector and it appears that my city is unable to reach the ESO server. I do hope that is corrected soon. At least I know it is not on my end specifically at this point.
