ZOS, Please Don't Forget About the Defiler Set

In an update in which we saw a set like Amber Plasm get re-balanced to bring it up to standard with a new set like Eternal Vigor, I was surprised to see that the Defiler set didn't appear in the PTS (especially when you look at how it functions compared to the updated Sellistrix set).

Sellistrix:

• Increased the damage of this set to 6836, up from 5030.
• This set no longer has a proc chance.
• Slightly increased the cooldown to 6 seconds from 5.5 seconds.

Now that the 2 piece bonus of Sellistrix is a guaranteed proc, I am curious why we haven't seen a similar change to the proc conditions for the 5 piece Defiler set.

Defiler:
(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(3 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
(4 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you have an 8% chance to summon a Hunger that spews poison to all enemies in front of it, dealing 6480 Poison Damage and stunning enemies hit for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds.

The function of these two sets is similar; they basically perform the same role (AOE stun). But, they are now wildly inconsistent with their proc conditions. Defiler not only has the barrier of critical damage as a condition, but it also has a woefully low 8% proc chance as an additional barrier (on top of the fact that it requires 5 pieces compared to Sellistirx's 2 pieces).

I hope you update Defiler soon, because it seems like this update should have included Defiler. The only ray of hope I potentially see is that Defiler has simply been ignored so far because it has yet to be examined in your pass on sets:

Many item sets in the following section have received numerous bug fixes or performance-related enhancements to make them less taxing on the server to track. While making these changes, we have continued our standardization to any of the affected sets to ensure their bonuses meet our intended goals with our set bonus efficiency budget. For example, many sets related to Heavy Attacks had their scripting updated to be less taxing to track for the server, so during this pass we made sure we brought them up to speed with other sets' standards. You can expect to see this trend continue every major update until we complete this pass with item sets.

So, just a reminder, please don't forget to update Defiler to bring its proc conditions up to Sellistrix standards. Thank you.

I’ve been holding on to a full set hoping that it gets some love. Also holding on to a full set of war maiden for my magicka character for the same reason.

Vvardenfell has been very good to me for some reason.
