Please, please add an option to turn off HDR in the video options.

I love ESO, it’s one of my favourites games, but man, the implementation of HDR is terrible. To the point of me having to disable it on my TV every time I play the game, which obviously means all other games have it disabled too, which is a bit of a nuclear solution!

The main issue I have is the blue shadows, weird thing is it varies zone to zone. Some zones colours look ok. Others, it looks like a psychedelic nightmare!

Please can you add the option to disable it ingame?

I’m playing on Xbox one x. It’s not my TV as I have this on two different TVs.

I don’t have this at all and I play on Xbox one x - then again I’ve got a relatively new (well 1 yr old) 4ktv - I’ve heard it gives varying results based on manufacturer so I can quite believe you.

Maybe play with some of the cinematic settings to tone it down?

I have Samsung series 7 and 8 TVs and get it on both and only with ESO, my tv is setup to my liking for every other game I play. It’s just ESO.

HDR has been broken in this game for years and will likely never be fixed. An HDR off option along with a default gamma fix on Xbox One would be very appreciated. It's beyond ridiculous at this point.

Same, though my 4K TV is about two years old. No problems with HDR at all.

+1 On PS4 with a brand new LG HDR TV: HDR movies look gorgeous, but
ESO on HDR looks like playing on LSD
So I also have to deactivate HDR entirely - which I do not like.

An option in ESO to deactivate HDR-LSD (or an advanced menu for more HDR options) would be welcome.

They need to have HDR options like RDR2 so people who this oversaturated mess can still enjoy it and the rest of us who like actual HDR colors can too.

This 100% HDR looks ridiculously cartoony with oversaturated colours. They changed it a couple years back and there was uproar as people thought it was too dull, personally I really wish they kept the original changes or at least gave us more options. It’s the only game that looks positively worse with HDR on.

Game has been out awhile maybe a time for graphics re-haul in general? Though probably best if they can fix performance issues first. But still would be nice. Though on PC end we don't have HDR though some reshaders can try to do a hdr effect.
