I just wanted to pop on here and thank everyone. Since taking your advice I have done several more dungeons, including Bloodroot Forge again, and they've all gone relatively well.

I replaced my sanctuary set with Spell Power Cure, and am working on getting Hollowfang (so far I've just got the necklance. I've done Moongrave Fane 3 times now and haven't seen any rings, or staves. Do they only drop on vet mode or something?) I've got Worms Raiment currently while I work towards Hollowfang. I have the shoulder piece of the Symphony of Blades set and am going to see about getting the helm this weekend (a little nervous about doing a vet dungeon tbh).

I removed my flash heal and use mostly just my spirit mender, combat prayer and radiating regen. (Though I still have the flash heal and have needed to pop it on my bar twice). That has been more than enough to keep people topped up. I replaced it with Blastbones and Skeletal Mage for now. I debated using hungering scythe but was a bit worried about people seeing the really obvious DPS skill and accusing me of not healing.

    So my "rotation" has been:

    Spirit Mender/Skeletal Mage up
Drop combat prayer, boneyard and elemental blockade, and elemental drain
Mostly focus on keeping all that going at all times

Meanwhile when not needing to focus on healing use blastbones and energy orb

Use Radiating Regen when needed for healing reactively.

I don't have Aggressive Horn yet, haven't bothered with PVP, so I use my golem ultimate on cooldown, unless it seems like a hard fight or we've wiped once already, then I'll reserve my ultimate for my multi-res ability.

I do have some follow up questions though:

    1. Are there some ways to increase my ultimate gain? Any tips for getting it up really quick so I can get my multi-res ultimate fast when needed?

    2. Any suggestions on my rotation or better skills for DPS?

Anyway, thanks again for all the great advice. I'm really enjoying myself tweaking my build and making it a lot more fun and interesting than just being a heal bot.

There might be a good way to get Ultimate on Necro specifically (I'm not familiar with the passives), but proper light attack weaving is generally what really helps.

If you want ulti regen then you need to have neurotic potency on your back bar. That and start using more heavy attacks on your resto staff bar.
