No more group queue for BG's?

Just here to vent. This is IMO one of the dumbest things to implement. I think having a solo only queue is a good thing, but eliminating the ability to group with friends to play is just the dumbest thing I can think of.

Imagine playing any other game... and then not being able to queue up with friends. SMART.

If you think premade teams are a bad thing, I really struggle to understand you're logic. If you get steamrolled by a premade squad, yes it sucks, but the reason you are getting steamrolled is because they took the time to build their team and use teamwork to be better than you. Sure, 4 randoms have a significantly lower chance of victory, but this is a PVP arena for god's sake, it's not about making it easy. Building the best team and working together is the epitome of fun PVP.

Go play LOL, DOTA, Smite (any other arena based game) and imagine not being able to play with friends. super happy fun time, right? Nah i just want to play games with people who aren't in my comms and hope they carry their weight so I don't have to. AWESOME, SO GOOD.

You can have a separate solo only queue for randoms without friends to play with, that makes perfect sense, but removing group play is a horrible decision.

I really only played ESO for BG's with friends (truly do not enjoy Cyrodil), and the grind for gear was worth it because eventually I'd be able to queue up with my friends and assemble a good squad. Not only did you lose me as a customer, but you now just ensured that I will not tell my friends to buy your game and waste their time as well.

I'm gonna go hop on a different game that actually allows me to play with friends, keep up the great work ZOS!

If you only played this game just for the BGs and nothing else, then it doesnt seem like much of a loss. If that was your only interest there are far better titles to play, even before the queue change.

Yeah, what other console games offer the fantasy MMORPG action-based PvP with matchmaking you get from ESO's BGs?

I get what you're trying to say here, but your opinion of "far better titles" is completely subjective. I'm open to suggestions?

Either way, I feel my criticism of the group queue removal is well warranted based on... literally every other game that has team based pvp. No need to get lost in the weeds of the rant, just focus on the main point.

Why is that a bad thing? If they made their characters to be good at the specific game mode, should they not be able to use them?

This also just plays into a bigger argument of class balancing

If you just now noticed that group queuing for BGs was not permitted it seems you have not been playing the game anyhow. Why do an I Quit thread when you seem to have quit long ago?

I haven't played in months, ever taken a break before? Doesn't mean I won't get on again.

Imagine complaining about that in relation to a game mode that is not massively multiplayer. That is basically a standard multiplayer lobby game, set outside the persistent world and that only exists in order to appeal to players who don't actually want to play something 'massively multiplayer'.

If this were a real MMORPG it would not even have BGs.

I'm not saying you're wrong about the MMO bit, but BG's are a part of the game. So what is your argument for why group queue should not be reinstated?
