Cyrodiil is mostly uplayable so I only PvP in Battlegrounds. But I don't remember having problems in PvE, until recently... Ping spikes to 250-300 in trials, skills not working, huge delays in mechanics, broken instances...
Today we were doing HRC HM and had stable ping. We always blocked when The Warrior throws his shield, and then we died after 5 seconds. Death recap said: Shield Throw. And this happened consistently. We always had to change our position instantly after Shield Throw because it literally dealt it's damage after several seconds, 5+ seconds is an unacceptable delay. And after we got it worked around, our tank started having problems. Taking damage like he's not blocking at all, despite blocking all the time. It was hard mode indeed. Any group content became hard mode by default nowadays, thanks to game performance.
So why do you think this happened? Was it always like that and I'm just realizing it since I've been focusing more on organized trials during the quarantine?
I have a suggestion, just roll back to a 2 years old version and never update the game ever again... I promise I'll buy things from the Crown Store...
