Huh?
Pugs have just as much right to run a DLC dungeon as you do.
If you don't want to run with pugs, don't use the queue ...

I get that perhaps you enjoy dungeons and pledges, but just because it's your preferred playstyle, that doesn't mean that the xp is low. It's only low if you are using it as your primary means to level up. Try some mob grinding, questing, dolmens, master writs, daily writs. Mix it up. There is an insane amount of xp out there if you are willing to branch out a bit.
Daily random is not necessarily a source of fast xp. It can be if you set it up properly though. I have a second account with no ESO+. I play a dps with a taunt so I queue as a tank. I get instant dungeons with guaranteed non DLC. I perform the tank role adequately for the potential pool of dungeons and often pull 50% - 60% group dps. In and out in 15 minutes max. If you're doing randoms the traditional way, you could see up to a 40 minute wait just to get in, then get a DLC dungeon that the pugs will flail at for another 45 minutes. It's an xp loss regardless of what that big number at the end says.

How about i play real tank run actual tank sets and do 3k dps. What other choices do I possibly have other than this and dolmen?

^This.^
If you haven’t been saving your XP scrolls from the daily log-in rewards, I don’t know what to tell you ...

You can have a dps spec setup for a tank. There is a good chance you're running a destruction staff on your back bar already. Get a set of mother's sorrow with training for dirt cheap, craft some magnus or seducer to go with it, slot pulsar and go kill some things. Total cost is probably under 30k and you have a set you can swap in at a moments notice for xp farming.

So what exactly do i go to kill? And do i get any gold or useful gear from it?
It does simplify queueing, actually. Someone queueing for random basically says they're up for anything, so they can get picked up for dungeons with fewer people in queue.ForzaRammer wrote: »the1andonlyskwex wrote: »Pledges are for monster shoulders, daily randoms are for xp.
Why not just combine them into 1 anyways? The que doesn’t work and having random does not simply the coding logic.
What do you mean, 2 in 1? Random was always random, what got patched was the ability to fool the game into thinking you'd completed the random dungeon by doing a different one.ForzaRammer wrote: »Btw it used to be 2 in 1. I typically farm mobs in Bangkorai at Murcien's Hamlet. I have fully leveled morphs for 6 tanks there using the setup I described above. You'll get moderate gold and a ton of decon gear as well as a chance at Spriggans gear to sell. If you are fast, the xp far exceeds what you would get from dungeons currently. You could bring a partner for even faster kills as well as an xp bonus for pairing up.
