New PVP feature: Trade system

Anyone remember the silkroad online? I always loved the trade system there. I wish ZOS could apply it to ESO. If you dont know, let me explain. There were trader who carry goods from city to city. And there were thieves who wanted to raid the traders' goods. And there were hunters who protect the traders from thieves. You could choose one of these three and both earn money or pvp score. I think this system can be perfectly integrated into ESO. Because ESO have lots of cities and possible trade routes from one to another. What do you think? I am personally bored of current pvp features, we need innovation.

    Only in Cyrodiil, no problem.

    Pvp in pve zones, no.

    Shove all the guild traders in Cyrodiil, and have a decent trading system in the rest of Tamriel - sounds great :wink: !

    best in slot: is the armor, weapon, clothing look, pet, or no pet, jewelry, race, class, skill choices, amount of DPS, and skin color best fit to you and the way you wish to play and makes you feel good and performs what YOU think it should be.

    worst in slot: what you read in zone chat, and forum comment, and forum thread, and you tube video, and live streamer advice, and class rep advice, and guild chat advice, and whisper told you to wear, and use for skill, and dress like, and use for weapon and armor.

    Yep, great idea, also im not pvpphobic so I can see it in rest of the world (also its perfect for openwrold since its for volunteers).

    At the moment all the PvPers are leaving because of performance issues with PvP, not just in Cyrodiil but everywhere, we're told.

    Add PvP to all the PvE zones and all the PvEers will leave.

    It doesn't sound the smartest of ideas in that sense, if I'm honest, and that's quite apart from the fact that ZOS stated publicly that they dropped PvP from the Justice System because they realised it couldn't be done in a way that wouldn't be exploited, and made clear that PvP and PvE would be kept separate from then on.

    We had this in Age of wulin too, and attacking defending caravans was great fun.
    Problem is, in cyro this would just give another edge to nightcappersz snce there wouldn't be anyone defending enemy faction caravans.
    At the same time it could really help with spreading people out during primetime, especially if the routes were randomized a bit.

    excellent idea...would definitely help spice up a lot of the older less populated zones...

    As a former SRO player, that system was amazing and fun.

    It'll never happen in ESO.

    They don't care about PvP

    As a diehard pve'er, I would not be totally against this system if implemented correctly.. I would hope though, that they would put his route well away from cities and major quest areas.. could make for a fun even though, where you get a join option when he enters your zone.. disable cp and join either team.. then people are also warned of his arrival in time, and can plan accordingly

    Is there any limit to the number of players who can join in to attack and defend?

    Because if not, well, the average PVEer might just find out what performance is like during a contested keep battle in Cyrodiil. Given that folks already complain about the impact of dueling in the town centers, I don't expect them to enjoy it.

    most of your concerns can be solved with little modifications. i think we should focus on how can we apply this system into the game.
