vAA Chain Lightening

If we have Necromancers in the group running archer and blastbones, do they proc the chain lightening from The Mage?

We’ve tried it just to see and it seems like they do move and proc the chain damage

Never trust ZOS , there are over 1000 bugs they need to fix .
If you see pets proc chain lighting , ask your sorc modify to non pet build asap .

Agree. We told them to try not to use archer and blastbones and finally cleared it. PUG vet trials are terrible lol

Never had an issue with this yet and do vAA HM often and have 130k dps stamcro parse on vAA mage HM. If groups are seperated into two stacks shouldn't be an issue.

Pets *used* to trigger the chain, but they claimed that this had been fixed in the past.

People literally have to be stacked practically inside one another or you will die at that stage, if people are dying to call lightning than your stacks aren't tight enough.

Literally did this tonight with necro and sorc pets all over the place and no problems.

This has been one of the most long-standing complaints in the community, that pets create circumstances that's not beneficial. While I agree that it's true in some cases, and that chain lightning has been proced by pets before, I would take a lot of this kind of feedback, especially in PUG runs, with a grain of salt. Many people rather complain about pets than look at their own behavior and what they are doing wrong.

No, that's just one way of playing it. There are other strategies that include dividing the group into smaller groups of 2 or 3.

Yep, this fight is a stack check. We have DPS checks, heal checks, this is a stand on top of your friend check. Pets dont proc chain lightening anymore. They certainly used to.

And yes, there are other strats, but lets be honest, if you arent using Burn Strats by now in AA...
