So this 92-page, 2759-post thread seems to have been unceremoniously closed with no reason given. Did it violate the ToS? Did it contain outdated information? Or was it simply an embarrassment to have a thread keep popping up on the front page about PC-EU throwing down the towel, often being the only megaserver to experience issues, or the most seriously affected? I find it particularly telling that, contrary to standard practice, no reason was given at all for closing the thread. Way to make us PC-EU players feel like you're listening.

That may well be. But I still wanted to make a point of calling them out on silencing an ongoing, relevant thread with no justification given.

Ye ok that thread being closed is just not ok. I mean, ye I get it, it is a bit old, but it's relevancy never faded (which is kinda sad).

Are we to assume that the fate of eu server is the same as the bosmer change? Not addressed?

Would you be surprised about that?

RIP 100 pages of EU dying, the Dream is gone. Also Kind of hillarious that they just close it no comment.

100 pages of eu dying does seem mellodramatic on its face. I mean, yah ok it dying but it's so long and drawn out.... Yes it's terminally ill but it aint a person or a creature that feels pain (though this causes many of us much ache)...

So it does beg the question, why isnt it dead yet?
I simply must protest. There are no Penguin avatars for me to use in the forums.

Yes I did notice they just closed it without any of the usual reasons being stated. Probably hoping it quietly fades into the night and everyone forgets about it.

@ZOS_GinaBruno can we have official statement on why the previous thread was closed? If not can we assume it was a mistake and recreate the topic with all the previous message log?

Odd the original was closed given that many similar threads have over time been closed referring forum users to that one.

Very odd indeed and some sort of explanation would seem in order and would be appreciated.

On topic with rip-eu: the issues post-maintenance seemed to have eased but cyrodiil still problematic with random load screens and skills just not working for several LONG seconds at a time. Noticed the same in pve: skill loss in dungeons but the duration seems less.

Very disappointing. There will just be more threads like it next time the server has issues. It served as a great accumulation of people currently experiencing issues and IMO actually helped avoid the spamming of a bunch of smaller threads about the topic. Seeing it active meant you could check the last page, see if many or only few were reporting issues, and find yourself informed. It was literally useful, well-maintained and did no harm. Having one thread about the topic is literally what ZOS always asks us to do, and that thread was continuously active, not necro'd or anything. Just a bad move all around. Only effect it'll have is clog up the forums next time the topic comes up.

Yep, now when the server poop itself, we will all open different threads.

But then that means the customer Karen Reich was wrong, and we all know that Karen is always right.

Most likely locked/closed probably due to some sort of soft/hard cap. Those with tact know how to ask for it to be expanded upon so the thread gets revived. Although, tact died when tide pod eating became a thing. So the chances are slim to none.

    There is also Twitter

I think it would be wise to keep a new constructive thread going. Just one that promotes better communication between ZOS and PC EU players.

The thread was constructive, on point and not including any of the “real world” debates. The communication is ignored by the one part that has the knowledge to fix it. It’s also a statement.

So the maintenance didn’t work? I destroyed my router a couple of days ago, can’t balance on a chair, a step stool and a corner of my living room to grab the diy-box from the top shelf of my bookcase without tearing it all down (noted), so I’m not able to see for myself before I’m getting a new one.

Closing threads, not answering questions, not taking the time to communicate are all choices. A choice that also tells consumers something.

But we can fill this one, just as we did the last, and the next and the one after that. Would they like us to stop? This isn’t the way to go. At all.

There seems to be no mod post at end. I assume forum mods are not complete *** so maybe the thread simply reach max posts limit for forum plattform? Anyway, I'd prefer one thread for this subject instead of dozen.

The thread was created on the 21st of October, which means it has been alive and very active for 204 days, this means that there have been performance related issues for over half a year continuously. (Let's not forget PvP is already suffering for years)

All of this happened while we have a 'road of performance' which makes it even worse, it was a shine of hope to get a beter working game but instead it just got crushed.

Them closing the thread without any information from any mod confirm they don't like negative (but true) feedback on the forums and are literally trying to hide it.

For years I had hope that ZOS would improve the performance but it just got worse and worse and worse.

It is even so bad that for the first time I feel that ESO is not worth it anymore.

Good job, mods! That one thread is buried, but I count 4 threads on the front page either complaining about the original thread being closed or trying to replace it.
