5 has worked well enough since 2014. I'm wondering what the reasoning is for specifically one more slot? Is 6 helpful for some sort of split I'm not seeing?

My guess is most people would either say to keep it where it's at or even lower the number of guilds. The chance of someone being active enough in 5 guilds that they still have more time for a 6th seems unlikely to me and I play this game way more than I should.

Why "at least" lol. Five guilds is more than enough. If anything, I would like to be able to re-arrange the order my guilds are listed in.

There always will be people who'll say 'nu-u-u, five guilds is enough', 'nu-u-u-u, 100 slots is enough', 'nu-u-u-u, we have mule character, no need for larger inventory' - like it hurts them personally to have more.

That's so much nonsense. Five guilds might not be enough for active players (one or two traders, one or two trial running guilds - to juggle the schedules better, and you may want social guild, RP guild, PvP guild for your alliance, whatever your heart desires). Mule characters aren't intended use for what game offers (and besides, good luck if you're healer or tank and have to lose time tinkering with a bank each time you want to change setup - game's progressing, new sets appear in support repertoire, but inventory space stays the same; gone are the times when Ebon/Dragon/Bloodspawn was a universal answer for everything, even jewelry sets should to be kept in a bunch of different traits if you want to try and excel at what you do). And so on, and so forth. So, I'm all for pushing restrictions that are either arbitrary or didn't evolve well with the game.

I have 1 guild that I have been in for awhile do their like family, then I have another guild for trading and also has a huge guild house with everything, my two pvp guilds, and no they do NOT play with each other both on different factions. Then another guild that someone is starting for archers. And having one more would be nice

This doesn’t make any sense. Your experience is not everyone’s. I would LOVE more slots as I’m capped and it’s frustrating.

    1. Friend guild
    2. Trader guild
    3. Casual large trial/dungeon/content guild
    4. Vet progression guild
    5. Casual content guild, but smaller and more closeknit than guild 3

I’m capped. It sucks. I don’t want to lose any of these guilds as they all mean something to me, but what if I wanted to be in another trial guild (which I do)? Or another friend group? I can’t.

5 is entirely too low and I would honestly say to suggest otherwise is just weird. It’s not like you have to use the slots... It’s like complaining about more than 5 restaurants to choose from. Why not have more options?

9 would be a great number to raise to. 4 more slots, still works easily with the chat slash commands. Absolutely no sensible reason to disagree IMO.

I didn't mean to be rude. I was really honestly wondering about how you have your slots filled as I only use 3 currently myself. I do have a number of discord channels I'm a part of that fill in the role that many guilds would have. I'm not a member of any trial guilds, but I am a member of multiple trial discord channels that serve that particular purpose. If ZOS wanted to make the guild limit 100 tomorrow, I wouldn't be against it, just slightly confused. ZOS isn't saying you can't be a member of more than 5 communities. They are just saying that they provide the means for up to 5 in game communities per account. I also believe that there are very few people that really do actually participate fully in all 5 of their current guilds and this change wouldn't likely affect many. I could see it having a negative impact as even more guilds become filled with people that don't actually do anything in those guilds other than contribute to a number.

I wonder how many of these requests for more guild slots is so they can make more storage guilds?....
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I would definitely want another guild slot. Between my need for all things furnishings and my desire to collect every single motif I can afford (see, “all things furnishings”) I require 4 trader guilds. This only leaves one guild which is the guild I started (and consider everyone in it to be family because we have known each other for so long). I know someone will say that’s what alt accounts are for, but I don’t want to make another account. Please let us have another guild slot (or 5).

I do not see the need for more guild slots since if someone is wanting to be part of more than 5 then they are probably in some pretty bad guilds that are not meeting their needs. There are some pretty bad guild leadership teams out there that think they are doing great because they have a large roster yet most of the roster does nothing with the guild because the leadership is lame.

Zos recently mentioned they have seen these requests and server performance.

    Not really, for me it's:

    2 PvP guilds
    2 trade guilds
    1 PvE guild

I'd also like to join a guild dedicated to housing, but not very keen on leaving the other guilds I'm in. So, unless I either stop PvPing, selling things or do PvE activities, I don't have space for another guild to join.

I'd say 1 guild only is good and enough.
Because from 2, players will always be insatisfied and will always ask more.

What? Lol. Where's your evidence? This sounds ridiculous to me; like claiming spaghetti tastes good because grass is green. Completely illogical.

All 5 guilds I'm in are active and beneficial. Everyone I know is in 5 guilds and all are active. They have to be, or we'd leave them because the limit is so low.

I cannot come up with any rational or sensible reason to deny more guild slots.
