For the love of the eight, please could we have ESO Plus rewards besides statuettes!

As an ESO Plus subscriber for about 2 years now I'm consistently disappointed with the new Plus reward system. The old system where we got some crates at least gave us a chance at good drops. According to the post introducing the new rewards (https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/54825), "These exclusive items may be available for sale for Crowns or even free (as mentioned above). These items can include collectibles such as costumes, pets, mounts, and more, and will be identified by the gold text and Chalice icon".

In all the months I've been a plus subscriber we have only gotten one free outfit (Priestess of Mara), no free pets, no free mounts - just these statuettes. If datamining is to be believed, there are even more statuettes on the way for Greymoor.

How cool would it be to get a Nord themed costume, furnishing, or pet free every month instead of a statuette? Or maybe in addition to a statuette.

What other ideas do you think ZOS could do for the free plus rewards that you would appreciate better?

Personally, I'd like a return of free crown crates.

I love the statuettes, but yes there are waaaaay too many. Lets mix it up!

I have an ESO+ sub, and I don't care about housing, so those statuettes... completely useless. Every time, every month... soooooo lazy.

After the initial announcement, I signed up for eso+. Then, after a few statuettes, I dropped it again. Every so often, I'll sub for a month, but I don't even bother to collect the free statuettes. Free junk... is still junk.

On an unrelated note, I'd sub more often if there were a toggle to eliminate DLCs from the random dungeon finder. For me, the benefits of subbing (craft bag and crowns) are outweighed by the negatives: rolling a tough dungeon that is hard to carry a group through. The "free" statuettes add nothing to the package; at this point it's just a mockery of the original idea as it was presented.

I agree some more variety would be nice. I'm one of the people who will sub for a month if I like the items, for example I wanted a small Azura statue for a long time, so when that was one of the rewards I signed up, and I did it again when the New Life furnishing pack was disounted. But it's getting less likely the statuettes will appeal to me enough to justify it.

(I know I get the other sub benefits too, but the only one that interests me is crowns and I can get them cheaper by buying crown packs, especially if I wait for a sale, so effectively I'm paying the difference between my normal price and the sub price to buy the statuette - it has to buy something I want to pay for to justify doing that.)

Of course there's no guarentee other items will appeal to me either, but there's more of a chance if it's something I don't already have. I liked the statuettes because small, decorative furnishings were hard to come by and they were an easy way to add some interesting variety, but there's only so many you can use before it ceases to be variety and starts to look like the house is themed around displaying tiny statues.

The statues are pretty underwhelming. I'd love some more outfits or any pets or mounts free for subscribers. I bet more people would sub for more interesting rewards. Crates would be nice too. Also a discount on Chapters.

For occasional ESO+ exclusive motifs, pets, costumes, and other cosmetics that alone would compel a huge amount of people to become ESO+ members. Statues? People don't care if they miss it, they do not see it, so they will stay FTP. Once a person sees another player with a cool costume, once they see some craftable armor for sale on guild traders they cannot craft because only ESO+ members get the motif? That will compel people to subcribe.

Why they don't do more to make ESO+ more attractive is perplexing to me. I think it would actually be good for the game if more people subbed. More cash flow and it would take some of the monetization burden off the shop.

I’m guessing the incentive in the Plus is the craftbag in itself. It was nice when they first gave out the costume but I assume they don’t wanna add too many costumes, pets etc

ESO+ is worth it simply for the crowns and the craft bag, anything else is fluff.

I do agree though, I don't care about housing and never will, so always having a statue is a bit irritating.

At the very least give us an option or ANYTHING else. hell I would take an xp scroll over it, but give us options for those of us who don't do housing so you aren't showing blatant favoritism for people who do use crafting.

There really is no reason not to give us non housing people other options.

Even let us sell the statues back for a few gems would be great.

I don't mind the statuettes but I would love if we could get a complete "Set". As in, one of each Daedric Prince, one of each the Eight. The statuettes based on statues added in new chapters/dlcs are cute too.

I do understand the fatigue with statuettes.

The ideas above are pretty good, except for an ESO+ exclusive motif. That one seems a bit unfair to me unless it is later added as a crown store item because if you aren't a sub yet you miss an entire motif! (aimed mostly for players who haven't found this wonderful game yet because we have not seen a repeat of any ESO+ bonus items).

Yeah start giving other nice things from the store to those paying the sub. Or maybe make it a choice style option... want statue or this costume you dont have.

Maybe even at least a free single crown crate or two.

I know their marketing monkeys won't go for whole style books, but free style pages from the ones in the cash shop would be cool. Put one book in for free, but let us only pick one page. Or put in multiple books and pick one page out of them.

I think it's like Indriks. They are probably in a "safe" spot with this "tradition" and don't want to mess it up with an experiment (or they've prepared years worth of statues and don't want to start all over with a new product line).
That said, if you don't make your preferences known to their marketing department, they'll never know and just keep doing wht they are doing.

TBH, if they want more folks to subscribe to ESO+, they need more variety in a monthly bonus,
the continuous free statue/month perk ain't helping.
