Was it just a limited time crown item? Have they re-released it? Is there an in game version?

It's a furnishing, so you need to buy it through Housing Editor.

You'll need to enter one of your homes to buy it, but once you do just enter the mode you use to place furniture and then on the browse menu, go to the Crown tab. You'll find it there, wherever the dummies are.

This is going to probably sound stupid, but is it just housing items that you can buy outside what is listed in the crown store? I was not aware there were items for purchase with crowns other than what was in the pull down and like the writ vendors and such. It's just for furnishings though? No additional skins, costumes, personalities, etc...?

Yes, there are two separate stores: one is general (accessible anywhere), the other is furnishing (accessible only in housing mode). No more hidden crown stores.

Thanks, wasn't even aware. I never really used the housing.

Oh, hey... Has the 21m dummy been on sale before? I'm in no hurry, so if it is something that will probably go on sale I would probably elect to wait...6k crowns is pretty expensive

Yes, it has been, from August 13-27 last year. It was 4.5k, if I remember right.

Here is the problem with the raid dummy and parsing in general.
Raid dummy doesn't proc certain sets, i.e. sororia. It also gives a false positive on the dps considering your not getting the full buffs that would be applied to a trial group setting, the only buff you really get is shards. This is why most trial leads will ask for a 3mil parse.

Parsing in general. In a round about way its a lie.
Mostly because you use sets, skills, and food that you would not normally use in trials.
SO you put on Sororia, Zaans, VMA staff, trap beast, etc....
You throw down a good number, but when the sweat hits the ***.
You run false gods, mothers sorrow, slimecraw. Half the skills you used to parse aren't the ones you raid with, and clockwork citrus filet is far to costly to be using. Zaan's is no good on Fire dragon VSS, in case you didn't know.
If you can sustain Sororia, good for you, most people cant. Only the sweatiest basement dwellers can.

So you lose 40k in dps and you have wipe after wipe, because you and the group provided false numbers to be included in the raid. Parse on the gear that you will truly go in with.

That's just flat out wrong. You can use Siroria and trap beast in a lot of fights. You should be stacked to get heals and buffs, and siroria encourages that. No one should be running clockwork citrus fillet this patch, you should run blue food and get sustain from your supports. Even going Absorb Magicka enchant backbar instead of berserker is better than running cwc.

Zaan can't be used on Sunspire because the Dragon's hitbox is bugged, it would be BiS in there otherwise. Only place you use Slimecraw is vAS because you can't get Minor Berserker from your healer optimally, and most proc sets suck because they can proc on immunity phases or wrong targets, it's a special case.

About food, it's used regen food to simulate the actual regen you get in real fights (Hollowfang, Symphony, undaunted command procs from synergies and so on). Some fights really are pretty much 'dummy parses", like vAA and vSS, so yeah, you can measure your DPS pretty easily lol.

I really recommend you take a look on Nefas video on Dummies he summs it up pretty nicely: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cCSg8kaeyM

If you hadn't stopped listening to this guy before this point, then I hope you did there. He has no clue.
