New Idea: Continue the banner war stories through BA dungeons

BA dungeons - big a** dungeons

Instead of a regular dungeon, we get a big battlefield/ military campaign between two (or even all three) alliances

You and your team get to pick which side to support, and with that decision made, you will face corresponding enemy bosses, get your enemies' gear sets and motif page, so the reward,bosses and story will be different based on your decision, and say if you support DC side, the DC NPC bosses will be helping out on your advance to enemy territory

On the dungeon queue it would be separated like "Battle of XX - DC side" "Battle of XX - AD side" etc, so that for the people just want certain motifs/gears can farm without joining in a team that vote otherwise, but the pre-made teams get to decide together with friends about who to support

To me this brings multiple benefits:
1. A bigger, grandier dungeon, gives you the feels of a true battle for pve players
2. Continueing the storylines, and if it works well it doesn't even have to be limited for banner wars.
3. More story driven dungeon for people that like it, and the decision would be very impactful (even more than the overland quests because the ending would be actually different for that instance)
4. Well...it can also fills up the areas on the world map faster, for example that tiny area west of vvanderfall can be the region for a landing invasion from DC, so DC vs EP military campaign BA dungeon area

EDIT: Just to clarify this is still a full pve dungeon, I'm not talking about players choosing different sides and fight with each other in that instance, it might be an interesting idea as well but I can imagine many people wouldn't want a mix between pvp and pve

    By bigger are we talking a larger longer dungeon with 4 players or something with more players than the current dungeons but less than a trial or same size or larger than a trial group?

    The main issue I see with putting story content in a larger group setting is a lot of people like the rush through the story in the current dungeons, getting an even larger group to be willing to wait for someone to listen to all the dialogue, would be a challenge for a lot of solo players who use the group finder because it is not as easy for them to gather a group, as it is for more social players with guilds and friends online.

    You already get people wanting a solo instance/story instance for the current dungeons because a lot of solo players just want to experience the story but most group members want to rush through the content that they have already done countless times before.



    Got no problem with a larger type of dungeon being added but to me personally I would prefer to do story stuff on my own.

    By bigger I simply mean that since you can choose which direction you go, the area you go and fight bosses will be different an therefore the instance as a whole would be bigger

    For example in a regular dungeon you need like (first boss area)=>(second boss area)=>(final boss area)
    And in this you will get (DC general camp)-(DC camp)-(Open battlefield)-(EP camp)-(EP general camp)
    and your choice will decide where do you spawn, what story you get, what ally/enemy you get and where do you encounter them
    This is just an example tho it should be more complex than this and the two sides shouldn't look the same at all

    Vote 8-24 man pvp and pve hybrid dungeons similar to imperial city but maybe with more of a defined goal than capture the flag with a lil more than zerging as the mentality
