[IDEA] Trial reset

Good day!

Today, once again with our static group, we tried to get TTT achievement in the HoF. Of course, everything happened in prime time, so we fought not only with bosses and our own stupidity, but also with server lags load and the load of the global network.

And after another ridiculous death maybe the most brilliant idea came to us. What if you give group leader in the trial (and dungeon) a small button that reset this trial (or dungeon) and teleport all party to the start?
What do we do in such situations? Group leader leave trial, change difficulty to reset it, or rebuild the group, then we all loading to some location and go back. In general we do a huge number of movements for the sake of an elementary task that can be performed by the game itself.

Of course, I don’t understand much in technical part of the server, but as I understand it, there is a system of server mirrors which have different workload. This option could also choose the best mirror for the group in this sense. This is very important, if it is possible of course.

Only few resets quickly fill up resources of our computers, not everyone has supercomputers at home. This may partially solve the optimization problem. :# And I'm pretty sure loadings by location clearly affect server side, so this option again will be only a bonus.

This will help us quickly restart trials and dungeons for no deaths or complex achievements runs. Well, and most importantly: You will help us save a huge amount of our time. :)

Nice idea, but there are some issues.
    Examples:
    1. How ZOS will prevent the exploitation of the button ?

    2. Technical: It seems quite hard to code.

    3. It will bypass the consent of each party member.
Usually for such in-game character effects there should be the option to grant consent or to decline.
    This will bypass it.
Some videos I recorded for fun: Main character:
PC EU main: Universe - AD magicka Sorcerer, Former Emperor, Grand Overlord, The Merciless, Trial Bosses Solo Champion
Top alts: Genius(stamina/sagicka Dragonknight) The Force(stamina Nightblade) and other chars.
PC NA main: The Magic - AD magicka Sorcerer
Started playing ESO in beta & early access

they could have it be like a ready check, where it pings each party member and asks them. and then only after the vote is unanimous, it would reset.
Shortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. When later asked about the experience, she seemed upset. Suffice to say, the Dunmer were not pleased to hear this, and thus they inquired further.
"Well," the Nord frowned, "the priests were very angry and unwelcoming. They kept shouting things at me like "you can't drink that mead in here!" and "somebody stop her, she's running naked!" and "we can't catch her; she's covered in grease!""

The instance needs to be reset so the adds and bosses already dealt with will be there again. That is why everybody has to leave the instance. So one way or another the game still has to take you out of an instance and put you in another.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

When you kill last boss in any dungeon you can reg this dungeon again. This can be done even in the process of dungeon, when the penalty for registration ends. Dungeon resets at this moment and you are at start of the same dungeon without regrouping or teleporting to another location. So I dont see any "technical" problem to have this option in menu when it already exists. This means that a similar function can be implemented to trials.

Great idea but server performance and current state of bugginess a major no from me.

IRL I see the teleport working more like a disconnect than a restart XD

Disbanding the group is also not asking if you are fine with that ;).

I am more into : make it playable again.
Then that button would not be needed or just a QoL thing. I am against "workarounds" to fix current problems.

Yes it would create an new instance of dungeon or trial and port players to it dropping the old.
A bit like the current, leave instance switch difficulty two times and port in again. I have arrived in finished dungeons a couple of times for people farming an set and just queue again inside the dungeon so you arrive at an empty dungeon rater than it reset.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The functionality of "ask every player and do the thing only of everyone/the majority agrees" is also already in the game, in the form of vote kicks.

Also, I'd like the functionality not just in trials but also for dungeons.

Would personally love something like this implemented, as resetting instances for hours is what's our gameplay all about now.
