Outfit Collections Question

Is there some way to make your outfit collections apply to your current armor? I can preview but I don't see any way, even at the outfit station to make them apply. I have the Dragon Bone and a few other new ones from my Greymoor pre purchase. I see some type of outfit token in the Crown Store. Do I really have to purchase this to apply the new armor look? Thanks!

At the outfit station you need to select an outfit slot to use I think. You should have one for free. Go into station > equipment and gear and then select the Outfit 1 slot at the top to get started.

You need to use the Outfit Station, but be sure to put on “Outfit 1” (or whatever you may have renamed it to) in the character menu first.

At the Outfit Station you can apply any styles and dyes you have collected, and you can pay with gold instead of an outfit change token. (Gold cost varies by motif/style, whereas dyes should be a flat 50 gold per channel, iirc.)

Note that the only Greymoor pre-purchase bonus that is currently accessible is the mount. Any other pre-purchase or CE rewards will only become accessible on launch (May 26 for PC), so you wouldn’t be able to apply Swordthane just yet.

Ah okay I see Outfit 1 listed. Didn't know what that was. So once I use that, if I want to change again I would then need to purchase the 1,500 crown token?

No, not unless you want to keep a bunch of different outfits around. You can change the outfit in that first slot as often as you like, for gold or an outfit token (which is about 400 crowns I think) - the 1500 crown is a new slot but it's only on the character you purchase it on, not account wide.

And remember the Costumes you have collected can be swapped as much as you want for free. If you have ESO Plus you can dye your Costumes. You get Costumes from in game activities and Achievements or in the Crown Store.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

no you can change Outfit 1 any number of times.

If however you want another outfit and easily swap between the two, you can unlock Outfit 2 from the crownstore :)

I will add to the Costumes information. If you do not have ESO+, you cannot dye your costumes, unless you use a dy pack from the Crown Store.

However, if you just wait for one of the free ESO+ trials, you can dye as many Costmues on as many characters you want for free and they will stay dyed even until the trial is over.

Thanks for all of the information everyone! I am a ESO+ member so I can dye my costumes and such. I pre purchased Greymoor yesterday and had three new styles show up and wanted to change one of my vets "style" of her armor.

Thanks again for the help!!! :)
