First of all, i dont care about meta and i am a PVE player, who just want the abilities i choose to feel like they do actual damage and are not always the same.

So i am trying my Necromancer in different way.. I allready have one using Bow and Stamina morphs on Gravelord skill line. I tried stamina from Bone tyrant but they feel like wet noodle because they scale from health, which i have very litle, so the abilities seem to be very weak, so i am stuck with the few things from Grave lord skills.

Now another character wants to use and ice staff on damage side and lightning staff on healing side, but im again stuck with same abilities that the other character has.. The Bone turant abilities which i wanted to use like the scythe dont do a *** because this character has even less health but has loads of magicka... Other than that, all my other options are destruction staff abilities which any character can use reardless of class plus those others from guilds which dont either fit the character, scale and use a wrong resource or are the exact same other characters have.

What i want to say, is that i hate the Scales from Magicka/Health/Stamina type of system, which is locked to certaoin resource which from the abilities scale and thats that.. Those that scale from highest offensive stat i like, because they give me more options, but i still loved the original, where the abilities simply scaled from the resource they used.

The damage from Hungry Scythe scales from your Magicka and Spell Damage. It's only the heal that's based on your health. Same with Ruinous Scythe for Stamina + Weapon Damage.

First off, if you have an ice staff make sure you don't go heavy attacking stuff in group content, read the trip focus passive under the destruction staff skill line. Second the scaling is there to balance certain skills for use with Tanks (Health), Dps (Magicka for mag and stamina for stam Dps), or healers ( also magicka). Second the skill likes are made with the three classes in mind, one skill line for dps, another for healing, and one for tanking. The tanking skill line won't deal much damage but will help you survive. The thing about a class is there isn't a million ways to play it while being competitive in dps, you can play it the most effective way and get the best possible dps, mix in some tank or healer abilities at the cost of some damage or go past that and suffer the wet noodle dps. You can't have everything, you must give up something to gain something for the most part. For stam Necro you are looking at weaving abilities in-between your blastbones and using the stam skull while your dots and blastbones are running. You can use replace these but you will give up damage. Also ice staff is built to be a tanking tool, so you won't find yourself doing much with it. Lightning staff for aoe damage, flame for single target damage, and resto staff is pretty much for healers or PvP. Again you can play however you want, but you won't always be effective.
