The Lakemire Gallery

I wanted to recreate an exhibition hall I saw in the newest Jurassic Park film, that was full of dioramas and artifacts, and I thought the Lakemire Xanmeer would be great for that because of the aquarium windows. It took a long time to build, as I had to save up on gold to get the blue crystals for the floor, and then construct it bit by bit, but it's my favourite feature of the room.

I used 3 special effects from the EHT addon: 1) Vvardenfell Painting, for the view outside the windows and the door 2) Carved wood gothic, for the walls on the first floor (ideally, these would have been made with Alinor bookshelfs, like the ground floor, but there are not enough culanda lacquers in the world ), and 3) Aquarium water, for the aquarium to the right of the entrace.

Despite decorating only one room of the Xanmeer this is still 700/700, as the balcony railing took 100+ slots, and in the first iteration of the balcony I had even more placed, but I eventually had to space them out. I could have used the new Redguard fence item but I didn't think it went well with the style of the house.

I love the idea of a gallery and the way you display things. I'm trying to do something similar in Potentates Retreat. Looking forward to see more of your gallery!

Thank you so much! What I liked about creating a gallery is that I could use the monster trophies and little statuettes as decorations. I wish the slot limit was raised, so I could expand my gallery to the other rooms in the Xanmeer. Good luck with your Potentates Retreat, I hope you'll post screenshots of it when it's finished!

That's really super. I love the creative way you have used the greenhouses. It really does conjure up the feel of a grand gallery at a natural history museum.

Thank you Zypheran! I was going for that feel, though I would have liked for the roof to be inverted, but since the room had a ceiling and with the Alinor greenhouses having a solid base, I had to build it like that.
