I honestly didn't prepare my tank in any abnormal way. I run with my olo/yolna/masters set up to enable more burn.
Occasionally some dps wear iceheart.
That is really all I did for my no deaths.
Really it boils down to knowing every mechanic.
And in some cases fighting a broken game like being able to actually sneak when fighting Tracy in vmos ><
If you can burn through it, do it!
@FrancisCrawford Nothing really, normally. I know tank has Battalion Defender and the usual most common tanking sets in his inventory. It should work with Earthgore(?).
When tank goes NB, he has Bolstering Darkness for a more defensive option - which I believe is a very good one (I know, from tanking myself). I have been leveling Reviving Barrier and Bone Surge to the full, when turning in all the pledges for a few days, and I think all have Barrier and other shield options fully leveled too.
We slotted Bone Shield during that bombarding phase at Lair of Maarselok a few days ago, and it worked just great there. From an initial wipe to zero deaths when we did. ;-D I'm not used to utilizing shields on stamina toons in PVE, so it was pretty new to me. Frankly not even thought of the possibility before.
Guess I will suggest a Barrier rotation for more dangerous moments. I think the damage will be ok with a couple or Barrier. I am rarely the one knowing/keeping check on what happens at certain % of bosses etc., but it's not unusual that our tank goes like "Now hold on! Slow down the damage on boss, just xxxxx now before xxxx" or whatever hahaha...
We will see how Falkreath goes tomorrow, I'm still missing the no death for that myself - and I'll suggest that over repeating the hardmode just for an extra undaunted key.
Thanks all for the input! This vet/hm stuff is kind of new to me. I've mostly been struggling to get certain monster sets (for PVP) until recently, and never really cared for skins and achievements etc. I got hooked though.

Most trash mobs in DLC content have at least one 'one shotting' add (i.e. the Mazzatun run above, that was either a Stone Shaper or an Overseer). Either will usually one shot a dd/heals even through block.
So, pretty much to parrot everyone above, you really need to know all the mechanics well and really need to know what adds in which trash groups are priority.
The best setup is communication and coordination.
