Nerf Large groups and bring back soft caps!
It really is just that easy, the number of gameplay, balance and performance issues that would be instantly solved by nerfing off healing, bring in caps for group buffs and heals and soft capping health at 25-30k and reducing group size to 12. Its actually insane the polar opposite of an occams razor approach the dev team take to try and fix the game. When you are in “TANK META” why is it not instantly thought, lets see what makes someone a tank and try to minimise the impact that makes. So the fact that average problem causing player runs in a large group, has at least 28k heath and runs a sword and board with an array of flat % mitigation buffs, or is a petsorc that essentially weaves streak, somehow the dev team has decided yep the problem is healing, like lol wut!?! In addition to some of the most ridiculous 1 piece sets that could be conceived added to the game.
Its painfully clear that the devs don’t play their game and whilst their wild Swinging nerf/buff pendulum swings like a wrecking ball that seems to make the problem causing large group playing tanks swimming in off heals stronger and small scale outnumbered playing players weaker. Combined with the worst lag in a AAA title and you can see the reason for the mass exodus of players from cyrodil.
