some questions

ok so heres some questions,

1) is there a way to get mounts other than the cash store, the indrik and the horses from the stable vendors? for the amount of mounts there are there seems to be a rather limited amount availible to aquire ingame without the cash store. same for houses too.

2) are the jump/colision mechanics getting an overhaul? i realise its a trivial thing but the jumping mechanic is really bad and has caused many a death, or getting clipped into a wall by an NPC.

3A) why is it not possible to queue for BG and DUNGEONS at the same time?
3B) why is it not possible to queue for BG in a group anymore?

4) will the above two be coming in the future?

5) back to cashstore, the gambleboxes, are they meant to be terrible or is the RNG of getting anything usefull just really bad?

6) is pvp protection for those who want to go to cyrodill to do pve content, quest and explore without getting harrassed by pvp gankers ever going to come?

7) will the guild limit be increased to say 8 or 10 in the future?

think i'll leave it there for now.

    1) There's a mount in the level up awards at level 10, a mount for a sunspire achievement, and mounts sold in the chapter preorders. In the past, mounts have been a reward for events, either RNG or unlocked via community participation.

Many houses can be bought for gold. Check the purchasing options, as they may require certain achievements first.

    2) Not that we know of. You can check the official performance improvements thread for what's in the works. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/487396/official-discussion-thread-for-esos-performance-improvements-plan#latest

3A) IDK, but probably something to do with the groupfinder rework.
3B.) After many complaints about premade groups, ZOS decided to experiment and remove grouping. Check the Harrowstorm Patch Notes for their reasoning.

    4) No idea. ZOS hasn't said anything about grouping, AFAIK.

    5) Its gambling. I dunno what you were expecting. If it were intended to get you what you want in a timely fashion, they'd just sell the item in the crown store for crowns. You can check the RNG from open crates here: https://www.crowncrates.com/

    6. Doubtful. Given that ZOS balances PVE and PVP together, they benefit from players who are least passing familiar with both types of play. That's strong incentive for them to encourage players to play ALL the content ESO has to offer, such as we see in events that include both PVE and PVP options like Imperial City and the Anniversary Event, PVE-Only events like Undaunted, and PVP only events like Midyear Mayhem.

As for gankers, it helps to prepare for PVP. Build tankier than you usually would and be prepared to block, roll dodge, and heal up in order to survive their initial attack, and then you've got a much better chance of fighting back. Detect potions can be useful to spot them hiding, especially if you are going to a specific quest location.

But its not "harassment." You are in a PvPvE zone. Expecting players not to attack an enemy player just because you are "exploring" or "questing" is pretty much the opposite of what the zone is intended for.

    7. ZOS has never indicated that they intend to increase the guild limit.

    1) occasionally you get a mount from the daily rewards
3b) uber 4 man groups ruined it for everyone else.

    5) yes

    7) doubt it. Guild history caused all sorts or problems before, so it is unlikely to be increased.

    1) They sometimes (rarely) give mounts away during events or monthly rewards. Also they give out crates occasionally and they have a rare chance of dropping a mount. But other then that you have covered all the sources. The new antiques system apparently has a mount, but it will be difficult to acquire.

    2) I don’t think adjusting collision/jumping mechanics is very high on their “to do” list, but who knows.

3a) I am guessing there is a software/client issue that prevents this.

3b) It appears premade groups were dominating bgs. They could have have separated the queues, but does a partial team count as a full team for this? How would a team of 3work? Also it is not clear if there is enough demand to support these separate queues. They could have made it group only I suppose, would that have been better?

    4) Unknown.

    5) The chances of getting anything “good” seems pretty low. (Unless you like grand experience scrolls.) My advice, don’t get them because you are trying for a mount. Get them for the lower ticket items (if you see anything you like that is), and consider any mount you get as a bonus.

    6) Personally I would love this, but I am guessing it’s not likely.

    7) There has been no mention of this.

    1) No there isn't. I still use the Midnight Steed from stables I bought in 2014. There is a "in-game "mount you can get if you buy upcoming Greymoor and grind for it the new mini game. Zos rewarded subscription members with a tiger mount way back when, occasionally in daily rewards and few other sources, but thats about it.

2)They have improved the clipping into walls, etc, but it is still a on going issue. Yes they know about. It may be included in upcoming performance schedule.

3A) Because the LFG tool is broken as is and trying to do both would be a nightmare. Fixing LFG tool has been a issue for years. Again, they are aware and working on it.
3B) It was available until just recently. They just changed it due to people complaining about pre set groups ruling over BG's.

    4) Probably not.

    5) RNG is terrible, give out good stuff just enough to make ya buy more. Crown Crates imo are just junk.

    6) No. If you choose to go to a PvP zone, then you accept the law of the land. Go with a group to do PvE content to make it easier.

    7) This has been asked for for years. No response on this, probably not gonna happen, but we can still hope.

    Hope this helps.... :)

Most houses can be purchased with gold, although some require you to complete an achievement first. But the game won't direct you to them like it does for the free inn rooms. You can use the crown store to preview the houses, then check the purchase menu to see how much they cost - if they can be bought with gold it will show you both the gold and crown prices.

About houses: here's a spreadsheet from @Faunter which lists all the houses, where located, price in both crowns and gold (and which are just crowns), amount of slots for normal and ESO+, and which houses require achievements prior to purchase:
