Good god no. "Tavern games" are always awful. I want to play the actual game, not play some crap made up [snip] and I'd rather the developers used their time to create more actual game content, not some [snip] pazaak knock off.

Using the Mobile model, is pretty smart for one it might save up a lot of resources, another is that it might not be as stressful for the servers.
There is a lot of potential with it.
I think Zenimax could add in unique player activities with it. Like pvp board games. Along with adding unique lore Games that the people of Tamriel might play in Taverns. There is a lot of unique stuff they could do with it.
Also brawling, in Skyrim you could brawl with npcs. Just fists, would like to see npcs you can fight, a system where armor buffs, cp points and weapons are disabled for a time bringing you into fist mode. Having to fight npcs and players in brawls and being equal stat wise because all that would be disabled that way its fair and anyone could win in a brawl npc or player. Unlike the Dueling system. Which should be made illegal in Taverns, The Brawling system would be allowed. Maybe npcs can even cheer on the fist fights. The reason for this is to add more immersion. More stuff for the roleplaying aspects of the game. A focus on Roleplaying systems. Meant for General Tavern Rp.
I think it would be neat if they could focus on the Roleplayer side of things. Give us content and stuff to use for role playing purposes.
A Tavern Game system would be a neat way they can go about adding that type of content. Certain zones could have their unique tavern games. Maybe some of the Tavern games would be colored to align with certain alliances so some games might have the ep emblem or the dc emblem or the ad emblem.
So I think there is a lot of potential with a Tavern game system and i think its something that Rich Lambert was interested in.
So I think the Antiquities system could lead into something unique. Games within the game. They could even be furnishing options so you can add these games so they can be played in ones house invite friends over and have a good time, Drink ale, play card games or other types of board games right inside your own house or another players house.
So I think there is a lot of potential with a tavern games system and would make things feel more alive immersion wise. It would neat to see such a system and built solely for roleplaying purposes. That would be very nice indeed. Even Non Roleplayers could even play the Tavern games if they wanted to kill the time if they wanted too. So I think it would be a nice addition to the game.

This would be game content.
There is always a lot of things they can do. Add in and improve the game, antiquities system isn't everyones cup of tea but its unique.
So there is many cool features they could add into the game overall.
Of course Performance should be taken as first priority and once they get that down then do all kinds of stuff like this and other systems, maybe even make a form of spell crafting that is balanced. Along with maybe adding in playable Sea Elves.
So there is many things they could do and it would be nice to see the Devs come up with all kinds of new features and content.

Disagree.
Game content is anything that gains something for the character, be it achievements, or treasure, or xp, etc.
Mucking around in a tavern, boxing npcs, playing board games is the epitome of just wasting time, doing nothing. That is not content.
I would not mind taverns in major cities, as social spots where the characters can eat and drink and players can just unwind, maybe listen to music, and just chat. There are times when people just want to take a break. But taking a break does not mean getting involved in something superfluous that requires skills. This is Not content. This Is 'I just want to hang out for awhile '.
IMHO
