Scathing Mage and Puncturing Strikes

Given that puncturing strikes are direct damage now, they should proc scathing mage, but I hear reports that that is not the case. Is it buggy for some? Or is it not intended to proc SM? I've been playing it on my magplar and it seems to work. I just want to double check.

Good question. On console so i have no way to test it for sure. We really need a combat text option for consoles to help with sure answers we can toggle on and off.

Respec out of burning light and test it that way. AFAIK it only procs from the first jab.
Also deadly strike buffs biting jabs damage for whatever reason, but selene can proc of jabs.
Lots of wierd stuff going on with God Ole jabs these days.
I remember when they changed jabs to direct damage, they said some sets won't work straight away, haven't really fixed it yet.

I think it works, but your Scathing uptimes will drop in execute, when you replace Sweeps with beam.
