What's sad is I had no idea they sold for as much as they do I deconed a few here and there when running alts through Wrothgar

Shortly after Aetherial Dust came out i found one for 30K. They were selling for almost 100K at the time.

I once found an Ebon necklace, a relic from a bygone era that wasn't bound, for 10k. I flipped it for 100k.

january 2018 in the belkarth guild traders i found THREE dubious camoran throne recipes.
they were only 6k each! (at the time they sold for 250k or more!)
i bought one for myself, and another for my best friend since neither of us knew the recipe.
i didnt want to be greedy and get the third one, as i knew someone else out there would also need the recipe as i did 👍🏼

a couple of months later was the event that dropped the dubious recipe, and i got one from a box.
i sold it pretty cheap as a way to pay it forward in hopes it would help someone out.

I had been playing for maybe a month or so and had a whopping 5k saved up. Always been interested in crafting(sigh, I miss EQ bags) and one trader had tons of stuff like kuta, gold temps/resins etc for cheap along with other mats(it's been years but wanting to say like 5 gold each? All mats were the same price) don't know if it was a pricing error or just the seller was quitting and unloading all their crafting stuff but I spent all my "savings". Of course being new and such a "surplus" so early I wasted it frivolously. Gold lvl 20/30 gear before cp.

Only thing I can think of was awhile ago now, found a gold master writ, that required as easy to get motif and a high-ish voucher count for 200 gold, sold it for 60K.

Not a find but I wasn't paying attention and accidentally sold a furniture recipe for 120 gold. Should have been 120,000 gold. It sold really quick.

There are 2, for me.

One day, I found the Vvardenfell volcano tapestry (an ultra rare furniture, found only in chests around the isle) on sale for 600g. I could sell it back for a whopping 600k.

Then, there was a golden book , I can't remember what motif it was. Bought 400k, sold 800k.


That gold sure helped me in my quest to get all motifs (some of those were incredibely expensive, back then - looking at you, buyoant...)

Recently found the Nord, Bearskin Rug plan for 500g.

But I think my biggest/happiest was finding the Daedric Fence, Section plan in a trader that had JUST listed for 10k. Fastest I ever bought something. LOL That plan is incredibly hard to stumble across in the game world or a guild trader, so it's worth... well, let's just say a lot more than 10k.

In both instances, the plans could have been tremendous gold flips for me, but I didn't know either and have been collecting plans to learn, so I happily ate them both.
