don't you just love unlocking one of those monster gear chest and pulling out gear with the Training trait? Not! Really ZOS? I always seem to get the wrong set, in light armor with the training trait.....I need a drink

That's what transmute gems are for. ;)

If this was back before we could change traits I would join the party. Since we have been able to change traits this is no longer a real issue.

What did you have to drink ? :)

Also, you do get lots of transmute crystals from BGs and PvP.

That's why I like transmute crystals, all I need is the set in the right weight and then I'm good.

Most people get excited when Monster Helms show up at The Golden - but I am happier when it’s Shoulders - so I can at least possibly get a useful trait. Spending the 100k is MUCH more economical than wasting a ton of keys, IMHO.

Invigorating might become a thing when they Nerf divines and sturdy like they said they will be soon because they are over used lol

Oh yeah, the classic ZOS policy. "You like this? Let me nerf it till i make this other crap appealing to you.
Guess we will all have to run Invigorating to trick them.

No gear should drop training if you're cp 160+ It's ludicrous and just grind enabling.

In all fairness training gear can still be useful at max level. Just because you're level 50 doesn't mean your grinding stops there. Some skills take a loooong time level up, and training gear can significantly decrease the time it takes.
Should it be removed from the monster loot table though? Yeah, probably.

There's literal progression until CP 300, so why stop at 160? From 160 to 300 were talking literally 10% more health, stamina and magicka. That's a lot, very worth the grind. After that, meh... Not so much. After ,600, definitely not. But until 300, definitely.

I think it’d be better if Veteran dropped Shoulders, and Veteran HM dropped Heads. Would force people to play more hard mode, and you wouldn’t have to spend untold amounts of keys to get the wrong shoulder anyways.

    Excuse me?

No gear should stop in training once you're CP 3600 and have maxed all morphs of all skills you have access to on all your alts, you mean. Other than that, it can always be used.

As the first repliers said, Transmute Stones are your friend.

Yeah... With transmutation and tier 1 cyrodill home campaign reward, every trait is BiS if you prepare ahead. I have 1.2k crystals without use right now. Enough for a LOT of transmuting gear I don't even have yet.

    You're not excused.

If that's what transmute is for then transmute your gear to training if it's so valuable.

The vast, overwhelming majority of people running dungeons for loot are not doing so in anyway for the training gear.
