Theory - Next Year's Chapter

I think next year's chapter might be a revisit to Imperial City and here's why:

The general idea for this is the bringing back of the five companions. Thus far we've interacted with Tharn, Sai Sahan, and this year will be involving Lyris in a big way. The only remaining member is, of course, Varen. All dlcs they've been involved with have been related to them in some form or fashion. The only thing that comes to mind when I think of things related to Varen is the Imperial City. We have already ended the planemeld, leaving the Imperial City to be retaken, allowing for a complete rework into a new zone minus the daedra.

Would like to hear other ideas for whatever location might involve Varen or whether you think it's a viable idea for IC to be reworked

Cyrodiil has already been called which IC is pretty much in the middle of Cyrodiil. That thread was created in the past week.

Varen actually appears at the end of Wrothgar, warns you about Clockwork City and Summerset, and says you will not see him again, so I don't think he will get anything else.

I personally think it'll be Hammerfell. This year's content has references to it (as shown with Unhallowed Grave).

It wasn't a lie. It already happened (the daedric triad story at least). He said this right after the Orsinium main story concluded.

Well, Mannimarco has been pretty resolved, especially if you left him in Coldharbour. I doubt we'd see him return so they can leave the choice you make ambiguous

They don’t do years that close. 2021 is definitely cyrodil it’s been confirmed by pts players. I have a bad feeling Blackmarsh will be last with cyrodil coming out in 21. Cyrodil > hammerfell chapter > Blackmarsh chapter (or argonian fans riot). After that there is a lot if map left.

I think the next place we go back to will be Morrowind in 2024 the Telvani peninsula as the main expansion.

Well we know he will eventually escape as he is present in tes 2 an oblivion.
We do not know how long it took to escape, it could be a few hundred years or it could be a few days(especially with molag bal weakened). During the greymoor reveal event someone asked about q4 dlc only to be answered ''if you like reachmen youwill like it" or something along those line. we know he has ally in the reach. My guess is q4 is markath and Mannimarco escape during that time or we learn he did in the main quest

The chapter will be all about Colovian Fashion. Only the most beautiful and unique (there is no ugly in fashion) will be able to dps. If you don't have enough fashion sense, you'll have to tank or heal.

Well we have the choice between Colovian Estates and Nibenay for the Chapter next year.
Each one has three big cities (+1 with the Nibenay).

We will not see Chorrol, Bruma and Cheydinhal again. And I like cities as they are now: we see that cities will expand by TES IV. And the architecture will change ... The Second Empire style disappears while Bruma, still in the Nordic style, will move and be completely rebuilt a little further west.

Varen can very well return to Colovia. Where he was born. And this, although he is the son of the duke of Chorrol and that he was count of Kvatch before his nephew.
Or the Nibenay ... With dissident profiles.

The year-end Q4 DLC will take place in the Reach. The role played by Markarth's despot, working with Mannimarco and House Tharn during the Planemeld can serve as a transition to Cyrodiil.
The question is: Colovia or Nibenay?

I think we’ll get a more original story than this no offence. Almost no one predicted western Skyrim vampire city they were calling for dragons and other things. Now I think what the dev’s will choose depends more on the follow up year to cyrodil will be. If it’s going to be Hammerfell then I think they would want opposite sides for variety. Makes sense? So what do player see as being more likely as after Cyrodil? Hammerfell or Black Marsh?

Personally I see black marsh as last so I think we’ll get Bravil area first.

He's back as early as Tiber Septim's conquest of Tamriel, since he's mentioned as being active in Elder Scrolls: Redguard. Plus there's the showdown with Vanus, so he probably escapes much earlier.

I don't think they would be able to get Michael Gambon to come back to voice Varen.

    Also, he's dead.

Well, even if you sacrificed either Sai, he still returned not knowing how he's back. I imagine the same can be said for Lyris and potentially Varus

I would agree if he hadn't already appeared to The Vestige as a ghost at the end of Wrothgar. BUT this is Tamriel and anything could be possible! Would be lovely to hear his dulcet tones again.

It will be the areas not added in Eso.
Imperial City is already done they won't remake something that already exists.
I believe we are going to see Bravil and Lewywiin that name is harder to spell so forgive me. Then Skingrad. I think we are going to see them next year.
Spoilers for next years location from Greymoor.
Its basically confirmed its going to be Cyrodiil and there is a reason for this. Zenimax has this tradition to tell us what is coming by npc dialog and the dialog confirms Cyrodiil, Heck there is even obvious TES 4 Oblivion references and multiple npcs mention Cyrodiil, Antiquties npc mentions it this one npc that can be killed mentions it.this one dunmer that make a obvious Oblivion reference and this argonaion said something that reminded me of how things were in Lewayiin in the outlaws refuge. . Yep next year will be Cyrodiil i'm 100% sure of it and its confirmed by the npcs in the Greymoor Chapter that it will be Cyrodiil.
