How to fix for gods sake these random loading screen when traveling through these areas pls? It´s literally unplayable for me at this state. Because it´s canceling all my actions, sometimes I can´t even teleport because of it. Not only that, these areas have some straneg issue with texture flickering. I play this game since beginnig,so I know, the texture flickering was always there in Craglorn, but now there is flickering also in Elsweyr plus bonus in form of random loading screen popping out of nowhere.... How to fix it psl.

I know that this isn´t only on my side. There are plenty of palyers who experience the same issue. Even on Xbox. Just look at the gameplays on youtube. The question is if they will fix it somehow in the future.

While I don't experience the flickering... or never noticed it, I do experience the "fraction-of-a-second" loadscreens since the last patch-maintenance. Not only in Craglorn and Elsweyr, but also in pretty much any basegame zone... Eastmarch and earlier today Malabal Tor.

Getting stuck on a loading screen could be an add-on issue or possible related to antivirus permissions. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to help with your loading issues in ESO.

    Remove any mods or add-ons

To completely remove add-ons, you should perform the following steps:

    PC:
    1. Go to the "Elder Scrolls Online" folder in My Documents.
    2. Open the "live" folder (NA megaserver) or "liveeu" (EU megaserver).
    3. Remove all files from the "AddOns" folder.
    4. Remove all files from the "SavedVariables" folder.
    5. Remove AddOnSettings.txt from the "live" folder.

    Add Anti-virus and firewall exceptions

The application files that may require exceptions are:
    • Bethesda.net_launcher: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\Launcher
    • ESO.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso.exe
    • Steam.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe

For some anti-virus programs you may need to add entire folders as exceptions.
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

    Repair through launcher

To run a repair through the launcher:
    1. Start The Elder Scrolls Online launcher.
    2. Click on Game Option on top of the News section, and click on the option for Repair.
    3. Allow the launcher to examine all the files for the game. This will take some time.
    4. If any files are found to have problems, the launcher will re-download those files.

Run launcher and game as an administrator
    1. Right-click on the game Launcher and select Properties.
    2. Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
    3. Check the box that says Run as Administrator.
    4. Click Apply and then OK.
    5. Repeat these steps for ESO.exe, located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\Game\Client (by default).

Please let us know if you see any improvement in loading times. If not, you can contact customer support to start a ticket.

ZOS_BillE, you didn't even read it properly. No one is getting stuck, only thing getting stuck are the flickering textures. These stock responses are lame.

The problem is on your side not the players.

Well, did some more testing and even took those standard suggestions to good use. No addons, no intervening firewall/AV, did a repair, even cleared the shader cache and everything.

Let me describe how it runs these days for me with todays example. Went to Rimmen to do some crafting - so far so good. Going to the bank - near the wayshrine - 1 sec loadscreen. Thought "Alright, can happen..." went into the bank, dropped some stuff off, went back towards the wayshrine - 1 sec loadscreen. Then portet to Rivenspire for a survey, loadtime to the zone was fine.

Arriving there, went 5 steps - 1 sec loadscreen. Arrived at the survey location, grabbed the stuff, moved a few steps away from there - loadscreen for 2 seconds.

That's when I gave up. It's absolutely not enjoyable when it runs like that.
