Do you block a lot or do you dodge a lot?

Alkosh was already fixed a while ago, so you can safely go Yoln/Alkosh as main tank. Since you're just starting, don't think you'll use particular strats for ice tombs and won't be tanking from distance, else could think of Worm's (with Alkosh on OT). Monster helm - your choice, Symphony works (and will work even better after next patch) for instance, Bloodspawn works, EG works. If you're just starting and want extra protection and sustain while getting hang of the dragons, try Vykosa, it was nerfed but it still makes noticeable difference, bash the dragon before the breath and your healer will have easier time keeping you up, or, if it comes down to that, LW/Chudan/Stonekeeper/what have you. For trash, Thurvokun's good too (it's going to be nerfed soon though).

For the other tank, can do Worm's, can do Ebon, Alkosh for more uptime; for trash packs, can do Defiled Dragon, I didn't try the last one myself yet but see it used and it should be good in trash. Pretty sure there are other options I just didn't try, curious what others will suggest.

Not sure what the point of Chudan would be on a tank, you should have armor and hp aplenty anyway. Slot Bloodspawn to pump out more Horns or Vykosa to debuff the boss if Lord Warden ain't useful enough dudes to teammates being away from you.

Generally I like the main tank with Ebon and Alkosh and the other tank with Yolna and Hircine. This also helps with the visuals as your main tank has red bubbles and your off-tank has green bubbles making them easily identifiable in the chaos of the raid.

That setup sounds good too, just a note - Yoln on OT may not have the best uptime for dragons, you don't always have atros to hold, and on the last dragon you're basically just chaining atros in under the hitbox without taunting them, so Minor Courage uptime will probably be higher if it's on MT.

Oh. Right. Stonekeeper. Right. Carry on!

(Also, to be frank, wouldn't work that well in vSS - what I don't like about the trial is that a lot of the time, it forces you into permablocking, you have troubles opening up in hard-hitting trash else you'll die to swipes or stagger to pounces, you have to block-walk out of dragon spits. Maybe if you're in the habit of dodging last ticks of dragon breath. Off tank, a bit better, can dodge atro heavies.)

I am in the habit of dodging first ticks and last ticks, dodging the badly telegraphed heavy, etc etc. But lately I have desync and can't do those shenanigans... So I might just regress to blocking. I am sad.
