suggestion for the vampire rework

at first i want to mention that i wasnt able to test it on the pts myself so far, ive just read through the patch notes severel times and also i watched some ppl showcasing it.

i must say i am really excited and i cant wait for the chapter to go live, especially for the vampire rework all the skills and animations look sooo good in my opinion and for that i have to say well done zos you really did a great job there.

but even tho im super hyped for it theres actually 1 thing that kinda confuses me and to explain that i want to take a closer look at the new passives.
  • feed: allows you to feed on and unsuspecting target, killing them and increase your vampire stage. higher stages makes you a stronger vampire at the cost of your humanity. stages decrease over long periods of time.
    stage 1/2/3/4
    health recovery: -10%/-40%/-70%/-100%
    flame damage taken: +5%/+10%/+15%/+20%
    regular ability costs: +5%/+10%/+15%/+20%
    vampire ability costs: -10%/-20%/-30%/-40%
  • dark stalker: ignore the movement penalty of sneak.
decreases the time it takes to enter sneak by 50%.
  • strike from the shadows: *while youre at vampire stage 2 or higher*
when you leave sneak, invisibility, or mist form your weapon and spell damage is increased by 300 for 6 seconds.
  • blood ritual: allows you to infect another player with noxiphilic sanguivoria once every 7 days by returning to the vampire ritual site.
players already infected with lycanthropy cannot be infected with noxiphilic sanguivoria.
  • undeath: *while youre at vampire stage 3 or higher*
reduces your damage taken by up to 30% based on your missing health.
  • unnatural movement: *while youre vampire stage 4*
reduces the cost of sprint by 50%. if you continuously sprint for 3 seconds you automatically become invisible.

i know it is pts week 1 and there might be some changes before it even goes live
but still the thing that confuses me a bit is the "feed" passive.
i see in which direction you want to go with vampires and yes it makes sense that the higher the stage --> the more you lose your humanity. but we are going to lose the passive which gives us +10% magicka and stamina recovery AND we get 20% costs increased at stage 4. like i said, i wasnt able to test it myself on the pts so far but still in my opinion thats way too much penalty for being vampire stage 4.

at the current state it will be just vampire stage 1 or for some builds vampire stage 4.
so i was thinking about how we can make the different vampire stages more intuitive and the choice more interesting, rather than have all players choose stage1 only, stage 4 only or between the 2.

so now my suggestion:
leave the "feed" passive in the current state BUT instead of the flat 20% cost increase + the lose of the 10% regeneration whats about
stage 1: +10% magicka and stamina regen
stage 2: +5% magicka and stamina regen
stage 3: +5% increased regular ability costs
stage 4: +10% increased regular ability cost

in my opinion that would be the best way to go *for the "regular ability" point*
the more humanity thats left in you the more "supernatural recovery" (current 10% regen passive) you get and the less humanity thats inside of you the more will your "human ability" costs increase.
you will still feel the 10% increased costs at stage 4 but it wont cripple you into heavy attack spaming. also stage 2 and 3 are more interesting now since its a better interaction between that and the other passives

also keep in mind that being a vampire brings you a few drawbacks anyways like
  • +20% more damage taken from fighters guild abilities
  • up to +20% more flame damage taken
  • glyph of prismatic onslaught (which will get way more popular with greymore anyways)
  • up to 100% less health regeneration

and dont get me wrong, i know that being a vampire needs to give you some drawbacks --> otherwhise there would be no other choice than being a vampire im just saying that with the drawbacks that vampire gives you anyways +10% regular ability cost increase is really more than enough.

so what do you guys think about it?
is even 10% too much or do you have even better ideas how it should look like on the live server?
also @ZOS_GinaBruno pls feel free to have a look at this thread and maybe we can see some changes in pts week2+ :)
