Destination Pointer

So this destination pointer has always been... so so. Now, however, it is really quite useless. When I press F and put a blue diamond on the map, I'd like to be able to SEE the blue diamond on my nav bar like I used to. Now it doesn't show up after it's placed if I wayshrine into the zone.
Also, it would be super nice if, when I'm the leader of a group, I could plop a waypoint down on the map and have everyone in the group see it.
