Twitch drops again

Last night I decided to check Twitch to see who was streaming, and I noticed that some of the channels said that drops are on again. I watched one of the drops-enabled channels for over half an hour because the streamer was exploring Skyrim on the PTS. However, this morning I didn't get a crate, and my theory is that it's because I didn't watch early enough in the day, since it seems like I always get a crate if I watch in the morning but not always if I watch at night.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows when the current drops began. Was Monday the first day, or were drops enabled over the weekend as well?

I usually get a crate around 25% of the time watching a drops channel.

Its not guaranteed, but it probably should be.

Is there any system to when the drops "drop"? I often receive an email as late as the afternoon after watching a stream in the morning, and at least once I've received the notification in the middle of the night - long after whatever streams I had on that day ended...

Normally the drops go out at about 10 AM ET or shortly after-- say, between 10:00 and 10:20.

But I've gotten a drop late at night on the last day of drops, and in the wee morning hours (like 4 AM ET or thereabouts) on at least one occasion.

My question, though, isn't about why I didn't get a drop this morning after watching last night, because I figure I missed the window of opportunity so to speak-- and it does seem like there's a window of time during the day when you're most likely to trigger a drop.

My question is whether anyone knows when the drops started. Was it yesterday, possibly coinciding with the availability of Greymoor on the PTS? Or was it a few days ago, such as Friday? Not that it matters, other than so I can beat myself up over having missed a few days of drops this past weekend if they started just before the weekend.

Down at the bottom has the twitch drop schedule. Sometimes they go off schedule and just have drops enabled on specific streams.

Unfortunately, that page doesn't show me whether drops are enabled or not. Maybe it hasn't been updated? Because it shows nothing for today, yet right now drops are enabled on some streams.

The schedule is hopeless. The drops are now enabled but there's nothing in the schedule about it. I only checked because of this thread.

I don't usually check the schedule, and just look for "Drops!" on the channels. I'd meant to check earlier yesterday, but didn't get around to it until about 10 PM or later, and then I had to turn in early, so I couldn't watch much longer than about 30-45 minutes. I think the current drops are to encourage people to watch the "launch" of Greymoor on the PTS, which-- if correct-- would suggest that yesterday was the first day. I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure.
