Does elf bane + zaan still work on pts?

Elf Bane: This set no longer works with channeled effects or beams.

Zaan is a beam right, so it no longer works? How is zaan working in general on pts now? I can't log in and test myself atm.

Zaan:
Decreased the initial damage of this set to 2010, down from 3440.
Increased the damage scaling bonus to 100% per stack, up from 50%.
Increased the duration of the beam to 6 seconds, up from 5 seconds.
Increased the proc chance to 33%, up from 20%.

i bet the damage difference is next to nothing but now you can use another set other than elfbane

Grothdar has better cleave anyways, illambris was buffed but i don't think that's that much powerful. Elf Bane gives Grothdar 100% uptime

Which is unfortunate in that it (and the Asylum change) undermines what used to be a fun and unique build.

It seems as though ZOS is actively trying to kill build diversity and is determined to enforce the stagnant meta on every single Magicka class.

Can anyone confirm that elfbane still works with grothdarr on PTS? Isn't grothdarr channeled effect (I don't know)?

It works. Channelled effect is like templar Jabs. Grothdarr is just AoE with duration.

i calculated the dps of zaan old and new... it actually lost 37 dps xD but did gain 1more second so overall more dmg from zaan

So that was a test without elf bane.

I wonder if Elf-Bane+Zaan is still better than Elf-Bane+ Groth on PTS. You have ~100% on Groth with Elf Bane.
