Is there a way to turn off quests?

I was hoping that there might be a way to turn off quests so that my alts wouldn't be bothered by Stuga asking "Do you know how long I have been waiting for you?"

*lol* Yeah, I think we've all been there at some point.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as "turning off quests". But if you do want to shut her up for good, you can always just accept the quest and she won't bother you anymore. I know, it'll take up one quest slot, if you don't plan on actually doing the quest, but that's really the only thing you can do.
This poor little Bosmer stealth passive had passionate friends and a big loving family!

You can take the quest, go to the location she says, and turn it in. After that, just abandon the quest. You will never be bothered by Stuga, and you won't have to carry around a 'dead quest' in your log.

I tried that. I didn't get that lucky. Going to where the caravan is didn't offer a "turn it in" option. It was still in my log. Talking to the Bosmer didn't give me anything approximating a completion. Abandoning the quest the Bosmer gives you meant for me that Stuga was still doing her shpiel when I went back to Vulkhel Guard.

So finally I just did the first part of the quest chain, up to where you get a prompt to talk to the "queen mum" or whatever - at that point not talking to her for the next part of the quest means it's gone from your log, and Stuga is gone from Vulkhel Guard.

I don't know if I was just unlucky, or didn't do something "right" in Wrothgar.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. Once you are on the next 'step' of a quest, you can right click on the quest in your log and select 'abandon'. I should have been more clear.

But congrats on getting that part done. Later, if you feel like doing some Wrothgar, you are in a good place to pick it back up again. And more importantly, Stuga will leave you alone.

Yep. I'm considering making an orc girl just to do the whole Wrothgar quest line. Working on a possible back story now. Thanks!
