And then when I fast travel to another alter to change my morphs that "prompt" magically doesn't appear again. I can actually do it. Very strange.

✭Hmm, odd.
Never had that happen in over a year of playing, and I've used the shrines at least a hundred times if not more.
In any case it sounds like a bug, if it's telling you that you "can't respec outside of a shrine" while using the shrine.0
