You do not understand, the game has a stat on weapons that increases the chance of applying effects by 150%.

You said it yourself, @Wlnamp ... if you want to boost status effects, use the charged trait on your weapon.
Adding it automatically to physical DoTs is not only OP, but it also waters down you theorycrafting your build with the right skill setup.
