Greymoor: Transformation Toggle, Crown Crates & Little Things

With the upcoming justice system changes for werewolf and vampire it is time to change how transformations work, they should become a toggle so that you can stay in werewolf / vampire form as long as you want, the timer on the transformations needs to vanish. BUT not completly, running around, overpowered in your transformation is not what i want, instead i suggest changing the transformation timer into a strenght buff timer, lets take werewolf as example: currently the transformation ends when the timer runs out and you lose the strenght the transformation gave you, also you can just lvl up your ww skill line when you get kills while transformed, with my suggestet changes you would stay in ww form when the strenght buff timer runs out and you can still fight as ww, just your strenght goes back to normal, so you fight with the strenght and speed of your normal character strenght ( just in ww form and with ww skills), if you want the strenght buff again it works like it works now: transform back into your humanoid form and transform again ( compared to a real life dog: if you go out on a walk with him he is at the beginning wild and sort of crazy, but if you play with him a lot he will become calm and stops running around wild, he is exhausted and needs to rest) that ww buff lets call it "Hircine´s Ferocity" would also only allow you to gain experience for your ww skill line when it is active while you gain kills- like now you only gain experience when you are transformed. Oh and one thing for all Players that now are worried:" oh no the towns will be crowded with transformed ww and vamps", i dont think so, because with the upcoming greymoor update it is a crime to use such skills, like it is with some necro skills, so guards will attack any transformed being.


Next up a Little Thing: Someone in zone chat wrote that necros currently have pets that are not a toggle, i dont know if this skills are a crime, because i dont play necro, but given that running around with a permanent pet that counts as crime in towns is very unlikely, i have nothing against permanent necro pets that work as toggle, because the guards would attack them if they see you running around with a crime pet, so for me it would not be a problem to give them permanent pets, the crafting stations that are crowded with sorc and warden pets, would not suffer such a fate with necro pets.


Coming from werewolf, vampire and necro pets to Crown crates: i often read that Players wish there would be more pet varieties or at least pet Skins and i think:it is a GOOD IDEA to have more variations ingame, i think it is time to give us Crown crates Season 2: lets take the new moon crate as example: Season 2 of this crates would contain as:

Apex rewards themed Skins for werewolf, Vampire transformaton ( mostly recolours matiching the theme of the crates) , sorc pets, warden pets and necro pets.

As radiant apex it would have 3 special skins from these skins. ( for werewolf and vampire these skins would be extra special: these skins are more than recolours they are race matching AND crate theme matching skins (werewolf as example: were - Bear, -Lion, -Boar, -Crocodile, or even the named but never seen were- Shark, and if you are worried: "oh but how should i know if my enemie is now a pack leader or a berserker morph", PLEASE REMEMBER: a pack leader morph always has 2 pets.

As legendary rewards it would have currently missing themed matching weapon skins ( new moon crates actually have: bow, staff, shield, one hand sword, two hand maul, so we are missing:
2 hand sword, one hand maul, both hammer types and both axe types), it should also always contain a crate theme matching MUDCRAB (because they are sort of Cult here in eso, i personally think of them as unofficial mascot from eso), if missing: a crate themed matching Skin, a crate theme matching Outfit AND crate theme matching armor motifs.(and of course exp scrolls and the other things that are always in these sort of crates).

As Epic rewards it would have some more natural coloured recolours of werewolf, Vampire and sorc / warden / necro pets (yes for ww and Vamp even some natural coloured race specific (Vamp) and Were- Bear/ -Boar/ -Lion /-Crocodile, the Were-Shark should if it ever comes stay as Radiant Apex reward, because it is extra Special ( unless we get at some point in the future the maromer as new playable race), some pets, costumes, Mounts (and yes of course the exp scrolls, even if most Players just gem them).

As superior rewards nothing Special: tatoos, some pets, maybe emotes and mementos, adorments, hairstyles (and of course all the consumables that are always in this category).

Fine and common drop table no changes, it stays like it is in all Crown crates: consumables. No extra preview crates for season 2 crates, instead maybe a preview crate from "season 1".


Next up again a little Thing: I think pets should dance too if we use the /dance command.


Last Point of the day: Even if most Players hope for new weapons, (especially magic: like one hand and rune, i also hope for something like that), i dont think this will happen anytime soon, so i simply (because the models are already ingame) wish for a:

New staff type line : Control
Water staff for slow
Air staff for pushback
Earth staff for defense and taunt(heavy and light attacks dont taunt but every skill from the Control staff line executed with an earth staff taunts, blocking costs magicka, so that frost staves from destruction staff skill line can go for a crit build, since they are in the DESTRUCTION line)

New Staff in the restoration staff line:

Green Force (a healing staff that matches the warden, because at the moment we only have a healing staff that focuses on the "light theme" and a "plant themed" healing staff would thematically go better with characters that are maybe a more "dark character type", like werewolf/ Vampire, someone that usually would not want to use "light magic".

And maybe give the werewolve / vampire hunters some new skills/ stronger skills to hunt them down in pvp.

    Here is the thing, the Forms are very powerful, do you realize how OP you would be if you could stay transformed?

    Vampire form also needs wings of some kind. Even the shadow wings would be fine.

    No wings looks silly. I don't mind that the Perfect Scion form doesnt have wings, but Swarming Scion should at least have the thin stump wings...

    I wish werewolf drained ultimate per second and you could save some by canceling it sooner.

    Yes, i know that you would be OP, but just IF it stays like it is now, that is the reason why i wrote:

    Or as i wrote on reddit (on the post where all the new vampire skills are shown):

    And again no transformation toggle with a strenght buff that runs out after some time, so that you can still fight in transformation, but fight with normal character strenght, instead again a transformation timer... i do not see skin rewards for vamp / ww as quest rewards / crown store rewards or special event rewards in the future... all will look the same. -Sigh-

    I mean you would lose alot of strenght, speed and abilities (like seeing through walls / lose the "no negatives status" while transformed as vamp / speed as ww) of the transformation when you stay in it, in fact you would be not stronger as your normal character with the transformation after the "you transformed buff" ran out and it WILL run out just like the current ww form and then to get all benefits of the fresh transformation back you need to transform back to humanoid gain ultimate again to transform again and gain all benefits, maybe the eyes could glow red(vamp) and yellow (ww) as long as you are stronger in that form and the glow could fade away when you lose that "fresh transformed = strong as you are currently as ww / vamp strenght. "

    My suggested changes are more for the "gameplay as monster feeeling" and not so much for the "make us stronger players", you know the RP players would have more possibilities with these changes and of course ESO would have some new things to sell to us(i would buy such skins if the transformations would be a toggle).

    Yes, i think you are right, no wings look strange (at least for the swarming scion), i hope they change something on that form(then again there are my big hopes for a toggle and skins, so that not every player looks the same in that form), but a change for the swarming is more likely.
