After careful consideration (and oh! so much deliberation) we have concluded that you circumstance sounds too much like a l2p issue for it to be just a mere coincidence.

I would buy from Windows Store and Download the Minesweeper advanced DLC background Pack. Then I would Pre-Order Minesweeper seasonal pass to keep up.

    I don't like minesweeper.

Hope they scrap it being part of Greymoor.

Never liked it when games add a mini game, to a game that plays completely differently to that game.

The only times I don't mind it is if its there just for the fun of playing the game within the game not being tied to any actual content or just a way to gamble for in game currency.

Me neither. It doesn't add depth. It often feels like it breaks immersion and unlike the regular gameplay a mini game quickly becomes tedious.

    WTF are you talking about.
    PC - NA - AD
    PVE & Solo only

Meet the LOST family: CP 810+ ( only took me 4 years to get to max CP )
Easily Lost Crafter - lvl 50 - Sorcerer High Elf ( knows all traits and most styles )
Easily Lost II - lvl 50 - Sorcerer High Elf
Easily Lost V - lvl 50 - Sorcerer High Elf
    Easily Lost X - lvl 50 - Warden Nord
Forever Lost II - lvl 50 - Warden Redguard DC (oops)

As you can tell I love Sorcerers and High Elves

CROWN CRATES: It doesn't affect gameplay, it's not mandatory, it's cosmetic only. If it helps to support the game and ZOS, I support it! Say YES to crown crates.

More people having a whinge about the new archaeology system, as if it's something they're being forced to do at gunpoint. If you don't like it, people, DON'T PLAY IT. This is the new thing they're introducing with the chapter. They aren't going to suddenly scrap it. So far there is no indication it's going to be a requirement of any kind for PvP or PvE, it's just a new thing to waste time with.

Personally I'm looking forward to it, and so are a lot of other people. If you're not, just ignore it. No need to have a fit just because they've decided to include something that isn't for you.

I'm looking forward to this but I've a feeling this is going to be one of those things where you reach your goal (achievements or gear) and never touch again. But it sounds like this is sort of like WoW's archeology skill (idea not the implementation) which isn't a big fan favorite either. Something they just add to but never change that follows you from here on out. Like fishing (sort of). I'm totally in if this adds lore that touches on this for the future as that would be a fun time waster to me. But if its more hey remember how great Skyrim was propaganda (like Vvardenfell was a remember how great Morrowind was). Yeah yeah you were a great game company once its not a good look to keep reminding us.

And isnt there enogh tedium already? Gathering mats is tedious but necessary, getting the right gear can be highly tedious but necessary. Doing all those maps can be tedious but necessary. Maxing out psijic or mages guild can be tedious but ofte necessary. Killing very thing that moves can be tedious but is often necessary. The length and skill for vet dlc dungeons can often be tedious.

Where's the part that's fun again? Many people don't know, cant remember. So they throw out an addictive little mini game that will add more tedium.

I think many people who have cut their teeth on games like curse of the azure bonds and pools of radiance, back when their was only cga graphics who made the switch to eso are scratching our heads wondering where is ES6 at this point.

Sorry, this is factually incorrect, as you will not be forced to do anything. You will choose to do it, if you want this OP new weapon, but since you'll have to play w/out it in the new content until you get it, it is not required. "but mah min/maxing" is great, been there, done that, got a few dozen hats and t-shirts, but it was then, and is now, a conscious choice, not something you are forced to do.

Correct me if I'm wrong: nobody's actually played the new content yet, right? We have just seen screenshots and read the reviews from certain big ESO names.

This really seems more like a "wait to play it to actually judge" kinda thing.

I'm waiting to see what'll happen. It definitely looks like something vastly different from the game, but it looks like something that could be interesting as well. I'm keeping an open mind until I actually try it.

It seems like most of the changes that are happening are based on evolving the game. Once the game gets new stuff, the meta will evolve to keep up. We saw resistance to that when Iceheart changed, and now it's happening again. Yes, if you're after the Best-in-show gear, you'll have to go grind for the stuff. Just like there are other pieces of content that aren't available to casuals unless we step outside our comfort zone and learn to play competitively or buy carries.

I'm kind of afraid it will be to easy. I recall only one puzzle in ESO that was moderately challenging. It is apparently fine to have a elite based on actions per second, but adding somthing that requires you to think has so far been a big no-no.
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

Play it on ESO. If you don't like it don't play it?

Isn't that what everyone tells the people who want more difficult overland content, where you actually have to dodge telegraphs, block and interrupt? Sorry, some of us want to actually do puzzles and solve stuff. Not just watch netflix on the other screen while not paying attention to the game.

It's an obsessive-compulsive, ie addictive, aspect the game doesnt need. It's candycrush eso style. Does that make better sense? It's bait for lack of actual content or story or whatever the game is missing that they feel they cant provide so they are trying to provide something that doesnt tax the servers so much but baits you to play but that also isnt really elder scrolls or what it has ever been about. I have no desire to play minsweeper under the allusion that i'm playing eso while i do it. Not paying full price for that. Yes it's nice to have something to do that doesn't involving killing every so called living thing. Even so, i will wait until the fall when it's on sale and snatch it up for a huge discount like elsweyr or wait even longer for it to become a dlc.... NOT paying 40$ for minesweeper

...or they're just catering to different players for a change, who can't/won't/don't do trials and other stuff for endgame content and, potentially, BiS gear.

Most of the game isn't really what Elder Scrolls has ever been about, but here we are.
