Defile need to become standard and accessible for everyone

As long as in this game existing sustain scalling of things like max magicka or max dmg, defile should be in every class kit. End of story, too much endless resources and healing. Necromancer is only strong cuz of his defile, every classs should have it or something that kills resources (like lower recovery by 60%) . You can be winning but you can never chase 1 with endless everything while other will bite your back and over and over. Bad design, defile must be common.

    No, this doesn't help the game at all as it forces the whole meta to revolve around major defile even more so than now.
    Defile being wildly accessible is one of the worst things for PvP balance and only leads to more standardization.

    Yes, it will, game designed for wide and bigger scaled PvP shouldnt allow every random to be hero. Sustain cant come from scalling dmg or magicka. You either doing this or that otherwise you end up in what is now. Over and over unbalanced PvP. Glass cannons have too much sustain, end.

    I would like to see the Blastbones defile changed from Major to Minor or changed to something different. The wardens source isnt that big of an issue since its a group placed AoE that you can walk out of and isnt that cheap. But i would be ok if it was changed to minor too.

    But problem is what I can do even if I drop 2-3 guys (without ult, good player not some potatoes, im not counting it) at once to halfs if they can get into full hp after 1 dodge and use of one heal/shield as all start running away like rats. Endless of everything, its an absurd (its not suprised that defile = meta, its rather necessarily).

    But everyone already has access to defile. You have item sets, Werewolf, alchemical poisons, disease enchants, Lethal Arrow...
    This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

    No, it must be throu skills as poisons, enchants have too low duration (disease has chance its not guaranted and heals/shields are guaranted). Lethat arrow/werewolf... please wh even use it, try lethat fighting 1v2 or competent 1vs1 (still gona rek you).

    I would understand if you would get max health after 2h heal, vigor and dark deal at same time (sorc example), but as I said those things scales from max dmg/magicka so 1 vigor is enough to get you on full as glass cannon and same with sorc pop shield, dark deal or from resto and full again - no no no.

    Mate, nobody with healthy mind gonna wear those sets... unless pure tank PvP or premade (somebody must sacrifice their def and dmg).

    PS: ZoS loves light attacks so maybe stack up 50% resources debuff regen throu light attacks (2% per light on range 5% on melee). I dont care, just lower it. No running away and getting everything back in 4 seconds. Use heavy, use potion but not glassing.

    No. If you want defile play a class with defile as standard. It's stupid. Like the guy who was whinging because Warden didn't have a reliable class stun. Just play a bloody class with a reliable stun/defile if that's what you want, instead of wanting it bolted on to whatever class you are running now.

    The way we're going every class will end up the same, everyone will be running the same half-arsed skills, and identity will be out the window. Me, I'd like to see them start taking away some of the rubbish that's crept in to the game. Like fear. Everyone having access to fear has turned this game into a steaming pile of.

    What are you saying? Remove defile from all skills because you can get defile from sets, right.

    Thread title: Defile need to become standard and accessible for everyone

    Anyone can get and wear those sets, maybe its time those sets were buffed since they are largely useless in PVE, if PVP players don't want to run them, then something is clearly wrong with the sets as they are if the target users for the sets won't even use them.
