Right now it's my Stamplar (PvE) and a close second in my Mag Sorcerer and then my Mag Dragonknight. My nightblade is on the back burner for now, I think I just need to find a new load out that works for me.

I find Sorc the smoothest, least clunky class to play. Love frag procs, love the massive shields.

Ice wardens are fun too. Watching ball groups freeze is more fun than bomblade, tbh

I played Sorc for -years-. I watched the class get changed a bunch, nerfed a bunch and enjoyed it, but it got boring after a while. Now I play Necro and it feels like the game is new again. I love how many abilities I have now, how cool everything looks and I feel like I'm not that far behind what my Sorc could do.

Pretty difficult to pick a favourite, they are all good & enjoyable in different ways.

But of my 18 characters, the class with the most play time is Sorc. I have several char that are Sorc, including mag, stam and a dedicated werewolf :) This is mainly from a utility point of view, rather than from a raw enjoyment of the class in and of itself. Sorcs are just awesome and versatile.

But as I say, I really do enjoy every class in different ways and for different roles.

Having a lot of trouble picking.

It's often what I've been playing much of most recently.

But if I had to really think about it I seem to be leaning towards Necromancer or Sorcerer right now - when done as healers. Otherwise Warden when a tank.

But this is really fickle and an hour on another class will change it.

Only class I've never "found my groove" on is Dragonknight - funny as I tend to end up as a tank in every MMO...

Necromancer is really fun for me, played Sorc before and didnt like having to double bar pets and not have a nice spammable. When Necromancer released I really liked the idea of temp pets that you only needed to put on your bar once, combined with the interesting yet buggy corpse mechanic, and it stands as my favorite.

I never understood why people double bar their pets. Yes you can keep the pet out when you switch bars, but you also limiting he skills you have.

Dragonknight. Best tanks, some of the best DPS, and can make good healers for dungeons and normal trials. Very good for PvP (when Cyrodiil isn’t trash).

I really like my Nightblade my first character, who dose all content prior to other characters.
They are outfitted the Jesters costume (Dyed Blue and Gold) with Cadwell's daggers and bow, as this seems fitting for the current state of the class.

I still don't understand why people are complaining about the game having classes.

Those of us who came from TES games would prefer that the "skills" rather than "classes" model had been continued.

I would love to see classes completely dismantled into only skill lines.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

My favourite class will be the Templar. I like the Aedric and holy light theme, skill animations, and the overall feel. I never used spears in a video game (because they are usually unpopular) but I'm in love with my Aedric Spear. My staff uses the High Elf 1 style, so it looks like an actual spear too, which I then charge with Aedric power. Though my favourite theme is the religious aspect of restoring light: prayers, rituals, cleansing ceremonies. Thank the Stars!

I love playing all classes, except i haven't yet taken the time with necro. But my first toon was a nightblade and and i still love it a little bit more. It felt better before though to play nb, it made me so sad when they gave all nightblade unique skills away to all classes. And killed the class somewhat with all nerfs, where is my mag/stam recovery and the damage, where for the love god? I still play nb the most. I love the teleport strike, i love the cloack, i love the surprise attack and siphoning skills and uuuhh everything. I LOVE incap and soul harvest, the way it feels to land the skill. Sadly with the cast time it almost never works, but when it does, satisfaction. Please up the fun again with nb, because it used to be a riot. Now it's flavourless and a plain.

    Dragonknight.

Up until recently every magicka character I had was a DK. Everything about their skills calls to me I guess.

I have a stam tank Warden I currently love and yet... I keep glancing at the stamDKs. LOL!
PC/NA - Perpetually casual. Furniture and fish collector. Lover of exploration and opener of urns.
Maxed CPs, still no clue how to endgame, too much time opening urns, prolly.
    Eve Morrison - Templar DPS - Furniture Crafter/Maker of Arms - Co-op w/hubby/achievements/crafting
Jilly Narraway - MagDK DPS - Delves/Dungeons/Dolmans - She murders ALL THE THINGS!

I'm the type of person who usually uses class design as a kernel to build a character around, but in all honesty I don't like ESO's class system or the classes themselves at all. :D I main a DK and pretend she's an Altmeri pyromancer/battle mage, but the class description talking about ancient Akaviri martial arts or whatever the f weirds me out so much.

IF I had to pick I'd probably go with Warden because that would have been my main of choice at release if they hadn't scrapped the class so early.

In any case, I still wish we had no classes at char creation and would just pick schools of magic like we pick weapons later.

    I tried:

    Stamina Warden
    Stamina DK
    Stamina Necro
    Stamina Nightblade

    Magicka Templar
    Magicka Sorc
    Magicka Warden
    Magicka DK
    Magicka Necro

.. and my favourite is Magicka DK. <3
I just love the fire DoTs and DPS and high survivability (combined with the Valkyn Skoria set).
Can solo pretty well and can also be used as healer in dungeons with Rest. staff. Great fun.

it is such a hard choice!

my main since day 1 is a templar, which i LOVE,
the sorc is best in slot for pure fun due to its simplicity. no one can deny this fact. period.

    but....
warden just does anything and everything and it does it better than anything else:
    strongest tanks,
    best heals,
unbeatable group buff support and utility,
can be a full stamina healer,
    pvp ice trolling,
very solid stam dps and mag dps.

i enjoy playing warden more than anything

Quit the game countless times since launch until i made a warden (out of clutching at straws).

Loving cp 160 and beyond. Solo questing of course :)

Its the complexity of the rotation, or maybe i was finally ready to make a build complex enough to get real enjoyment out of the combat, could have been that too.
