Cant start quest filling the void Dark Brotherhood? Plz help

I am already rank 11 in the Dark Brotherhood skill line. However, I havent any idea how to start the quest filling the void in order to get that black robe.
When I go to speaker Terenus, he gives me only daily quests, not the start of the main quest Filling the Void. So I thought: maybe I started it before (in one way or another) so I looked in my quests list and nothing there either.
So anyone a clue or a solution for this?

Well, that isn't normal. Speaker Terenus shouldn't even be in his usual place for this quest.

Try speaking to Grazda near the wayshrine - this should give you the quest to talk to Terenus, and hopefully will cause him to move to his correct location.

Now I'm having the same problem and grazda isn;t talking to me except to say "I see our family has grown"

you should have gotten the quest before rank 11, did you do the previous quest where you had to take care of The Black Dragon?

I did this quest just a short while ago, it activated at around lvl 8, just after the wrath of sithis. Had to leave the sanctuary and grazda summoned me at the wayshrine.

I've never heard of the quest failing, but you never know obviously.

If you talk to terenus do you have the option to ask if your tasks have changed now you're a "silencer"?

If so you might have finished already...

Open the map and look on the side,and mouseover and see if the main quest how far you are.I did it on one,and doing it on another char right now,only lvl7 right now,farming to lvl8.

All are checked off, I've done the whole quest line otherwise. I'm level 7 in DB. Black dragon is dead.

oh wait, primate isn't dead. But don't think that matters. According to https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Nevusa - I just had to rescue Tanek, which I've definitely done, and killed the sermonizers, same.

Now, level 8. No grazda (either by wayshrine or by alchemy), no Nevusa, terenus is in the main hall, not where he gives daily quests. Book is still unreadable.

About to start "Filling the Void" - maybe it'll fix itself after that.

Finished primate. Now everyone is calling me silencer, and no new quests or people. Guess I somehow bugged it and now can't do it.

Filling the Void is the last quest. Which quest are you trying to get to trigger.

Edit If it's litany you need to do the daily quests to trigger it, not just the main quest. Defeating the primate is the last main quest

I was doing the contracts, didn't do the dailies since i hate them. Didnt know they were necessary. Maybe I can start one, cancel it?

I think you only need to complete one and don't need to do the bonus objectives.

my reply was for filling the void, which is what the topic is about, you didn't mention litany till after, do what Spartaxoxo mentioned, that should work.

PS-you can also kill the targets ahead of time, if you haven't gotten the quest yet, plenty of info online with their names, and locations

my reply was for filling the void, which is what the topic is about, you didn't mention litany till after, do what Spartaxoxo mentioned, that should work.

PS-you can also kill the targets ahead of time, if you haven't gotten the quest yet, plenty of info online with their names, and locations

yep, as you kill them their names will go from dark to highlighted on the zone list, and their souls? appear near the speaker on those pedestals that are around him.

I'm currently doing this on my newest alt, eventho is kind of pointless as you only get the 1 robe, but I like playing where's waldo, so shrugs

I'm just trying to finish all the quests again, as you can tell, it's been YEARS

You were right. Soon as I finished the daily, she appeared. Thank you! I really wish it said that somewhere, either on UESP or somehow in game. Does anyone know who to tag to let UESP know?
