Crafting bench unable to deconstruct items and subtracting mats from crafting bag, PC NA

My bags are full and I need to deconstruct weapons and gear. When I try (clothing, metalworking, and woodworking benches) to deconstruct an item it disappears and in the middle of the screen it shows the mats you got from deconstructing. One of two things happen; you get logged out of the crafting bench, or the item that was deconstructed reappears in your inventory. The mats you thought you were getting for deconstructing the item - they are being subtracted from your crafting mats bag not added to your inventory.

You will, regardless of craftbag need some free slots in your inventory, think it's 4-6, because it DOES unnoticeable touch your inventory on the way to the craftbag
