Nightblade vs Templar Execute

Why does a ranged Execute scale at 50% and a melee Execute scale at 25%? With how powerful self healing can be trying to land a StamBlade Execute is insanely difficult. Every other StamBlade i come across uses the 2H Execute or Spin to Win anyway so i know it's not good enough to be preferable.

Well, they are different in a fundamental way, nb does 300% more damage after 25%, radiant scales under 50% up to 480% more damage.

Personally i much prefer how radiant and executioner work.

Jesus Beam can be interrupted, cleansed, cloaked and cancelled by line of sight. Using it on 50% or slightly lower does less Damage than using a spammable, it also has a delay upon cast which makes it incredibly trivial to counter.

Because ranged one's damage have to properly scale in order to deal damage. Melee one gets full benefit at 25% and less health.

NB's problem is being weak. Thats why everyone try point a few points. But they are weak overall, they were S tier at solo PvP for sooooo long and ZoS nered them to ground at last in elsewheyr.

Killers blade could use a buff. But comparing it directly to a channeled attack isnt the best thing.

Roll dodge allows to escape hits from slash/execuationer. Blade hits faster, so provides almost guaranteed hit. I think, in this way developers find it balanced: guaranteed shot with higher requirements vs low requirements heavy hit, but with providing a chance to escape.

Yep, better to compare it to Reverse Slash & its morphs. It is kinda weird that a Weapon Skill Execute is better than what Assassin Class has in its class toolkit...

Everytime NB asks buffs, everytime ZOS nerf them harder.

At least as a stamina nightblade, you have the option to choose. You can use executioner, which is the best execute by far.
As a magicka, non templar character... well. You have nothing of that kind.

Endless fury is probably the skill that should be available among all classes in the mage guild skill line, many people thought about it.

I'll admit, Dragonknight's got shafted out of an Execute. MagKnights especially.

you should not compare the two togwther sense there is a range morph excute nightblade. It makes perfect sense to have the stamina morph to be melee since most stamina spammables are melee espacialy nightblades own spammable surprise attack. In melee range, nightblade excute is fastest excute in the game. In long eange, nightblade magicka excute is still stronger than templars, becauese while templars excute scales up to 480% this dmg is divided to its tick and I believe it hits 3 times. On the other hand, nightblade excuate gives you the full dmg in 1 hit for targets below 25%.

If you want to compare excute, it is better you compare stamina nighyblade excuate with excuationer since they are both melee and instant. I think someone already made a comperison for that.
