Inevitable Detonation rework?

So I've been playing around with an OG dual wield Magsorc build with Inevitable Detonation as part of my burst. And I feel as if the damage of the ability is very lackluster... Yes! I do know that the damage mainly comes from the secondary effect of having multiple players close together. But when you think of it, I haven't seen this ability used effectively since 2016. And the other morph Proxy Det, is the main morph when using it in terms of zergbombing or group play.

My suggestion is that this morph could possibly be turned into a single target damage morph, giving more magicka builds an option when it comes to burst combos. Now we all know that this current meta is heavily stamina based with direct damage burst - in terms of solo/small scale play. Having something a little bit more to add to a mag classes burst would be a great option... Especially since this skill is so underused.

    While i like the idea i think it would give a lot of burst to classes that already have good burst for example magsorc, imagine getting hit with curse frags light attack and the new detonation you are suggesting at the same time, personally i think it would be overkill but i still agree that this morph is useless and could get a rework.

    What makes it useless is the cast time because of Cyro performance. They should definitely rework it somehow so it’s an instant cast ability. I’ve used it many times before and it did nothing, even when you do get the animation to fire.

    Haunting curse is already a superior version of inevitable det for single target, and the delayed burst of magsorc would be ridiculously op if you could stack another high damage delay on top of it like an improved inevitable detonation.

    The upper damage limit should be removed so that inev det absolutely obliterates groups that want to ball up, there should be more abilities and sets introduced directly to counter large pvp groups
