Hi, I recently came back to the game after a 3 year break and decided to main my magtemplar again ( I don't care what class is at the top of the food chain). That being said, I don't like Alcast or Dottz builds as I want something that suits my playstyle more. I mostly run around in cyrodill trying to find smaller scale pvp or just chilling behind the zergs with a smaller group picking of people joining enemy zergs. I ahvent gotten into BGs but that's beside the point of my questions right now.
A lot of my deaths come from getting ganked or just killed by a zerg.
I currently don't have Magelight slotted but am seriously considering it as an option, however I'm not sure where to put it. Dmge bar or back bar, or even both? Is it worth a slot for cyrodill pvp?
I took the morph that protects me from sneak stuns or smth like that. the extra stats you get from it only benefit you if your on the bar the skill is equipped to it seems.
another problem I'm faceing is choosing an offensive ultimate. Aedric spear ulti feels kinda bad however it is on a short re-useable time and the DOT can procc my Valkyn Skoria.
Nova...don't know how I feel about this one as it requires someone else to use the synergy, I prefer being able to do something myself, rather than rely on randoms.
Ritual of rebirth? nah it aint offensive. End of
Mages guild Meteor... I played pvp 3 years ago and even now I remember how to counter it... just block.. you like 10 minutes time to see that stupid thing coming and without a really reliably stunning the enemy just before it hits....meh. Also takes time to get to full ulti I could use my Spell ward almost 2x over before Meteor is full once.
I was thinking about trying this combo out : Purifying light -> Meteor -> Charge (interrupt morph) , does anyone use this combo and find success with it?
Soul lock. Honestly? I cant remember how to counter it as you { can't? } interrupt it. Was it just LoS it? I think it was just LoS it, but if someone could point me in the right direction, thanks!
Well it seems good to get easy kills but your locked into the animation and probs could do somthing better with the channel time?
Not a fan of the Destro ultis in pvp at least. not much to say to them I think.
I like making my own build, but could really do with some help as I don't know what skills are good atm!
PS: with vamp changes coming soo, I decided to not go vamp until we are sure what the changes will be and if they are useless or not. Don't want to learn a style relying on mist form and then not have it
